Millsap for Bledsoe?

Another thought- Bledsoe and Burks have very similar numbers and also seem very similar except the height difference. Both are OK shooters, excellent drivers, and great defenders. Both are the combo PG/SG.
Bledsoe is probably a more suited PG because he's probably played it more and has better dribbling skills but other than that, if we're getting a combo guard, then why aren't we happy enough with Burks?

What makes you think we are unhappy with Burks? Bledsoe has higher potential as a pg where Burks has a higher potential at sg. I don't want Burks to be a pg, and if we ever do get Bledsoe I don't want him to play sg. As far as I'm concerned Bledsoe is pg and Burks is sg.

This.

Burks isn't even comfortable dribbling the ball up the court. Thats a huge problem if you are trying to play pg. The only thing that Burks does well right now that even resembles a pg, is passing off the pnr. Bledsoe looks a lot more like a pg than Burks does.

Makes all sorts of sense

When I look at the Clippers backup big men situation, I kind of feel like this trade is going to happen.

They only play Jordan for 25 mpg, then there backups are Lamar Odom (sucking a big fat one this season), Ryan Hollins (scrub), and Ronny Turiaf (scrub).

I've been saying this for weeks. I've probably seen as many Clipper games as Jazz games this year (I moved to LA last November to start my new research project), and I guarantee you that this fleet of big men removes them from serious title contention. Free-agent-to-be Mr. Chris Paul knows this, too.

How solid would we be at the guard positions with a rotation of Mo Williams, Burks and Bledsoe? Hayward then plays some at SG, but gets most of his minutes at SF. If that were to happen, the Jazz should look to re-sign DeMarre and trade Marvin in the off-season.
