I believe so. Lang has a ton of coaching experience overseas as a head coach and state side as an assistant. Good promotion regardless.

It’s literal. Right now he sits behind the bench. I doubt he’s lead assistant, as I’d assume one of the other guys that’s already court-side would move up.

Wasn't Lang "Favors' coach" - at least in that he did the most one-on-one work with him?

I'm sure he deserves the promo but maybe expanding his role comes with the expectation that Favors will be moving on.

Just a thought.
