Mistress? good or bad?

If his wife is hot I would see if she was accepting then turn the tables on him.

Some people say you marry the person who you think is the best and most attractive person you can get.

yes and the day your married. there are more atractive people hitting on you.

a friend of mine sometimes wears a weddingring. he is not married.
saw him a couple of times with it. he got more "action" when wearing that wedding ring from my observation, then when he's not

You sat there and observed this? Strange.

I am definitely opposed to cheating in my marriage. I feel as stated above that if you want to cheat or are cheating you should do the right thing and break up unless your spouse is okay with it.

Having said that I think a lot of people who judge people for cheating and say they never will are not in a situation to cheat. Meaning they have not had multiple attractive people pursue them. I have never cheated and don't see myself cheating but I have never had the kind of attention celebrities get like tiger woods so I cant say for sure what I would do in that situation.

I will say when I traveled for work a lot and was on my own more often the temptation greatly increased and I could see how people could falter in these situations.

You marry for love. Period.

A common perception is that married men are keepers and some women want a keeper for themselves. Nicely ignoring the fact that if they were truly a keeper they probably wouldn't be cheating...

or maybe they just want sex wihtout a commitmentt/ stalkerism.
married men probably wont continue a relationship. prob will be one night stand then done.

higher values

"A man's reach should exceed his grasp".

Wonderful truth my great aunt taught me, trying to encourage me to question everything and not just stick with the commonplace accepted norms. . . .

Trying to upgrade our values like personal honesty is on my list. Trying to upgrade my ethical behavior towards things that are actually beneficial in their impacts on others is right there with it. Lying to a spouse, or keeping any significant thing secret is going to result in reasonable distrust. Destructive of the hope for a good positive forward path.

Men are not monogamous, never will be. Religions in general should move back to the bronze age marriage schema. Women should re-direct all their social skills towards making sure none of their own is seriously abused or neglected, for sure. . . . and aim towards attaining general queenship status for all of their own.

I said it was a common perception. Not the only one.
