Tony's good at his job.
I find his podcasts very vague...
Tony's good at his job.
He runs like 5 miles a day. Of course he loses fat.
I’ll buy a Donavan Mitchell jersey in celebration. All I have right now is an Exum Jersey. Insert jokes here. Hard to find good Jazz paraphernalia in south Texas.
I’ll grant you that maybe that’s hard to find in south Texas (at brick and mortar), but you found Exum?I’ll buy a Donavan Mitchell jersey in celebration. All I have right now is an Exum Jersey. Insert jokes here. Hard to find good Jazz paraphernalia in south Texas.
Got the Exum Jersey During a visit to Utah. I’m supposed to be there this June for a nephew’s wedding, but with this Coronavirus stuff, it’s looking improbable.I’ll grant you that maybe that’s hard to find in south Texas (at brick and mortar), but you found Exum?
Glad to hear you've done a 180Honestly I didn’t actually doubt this as much as some of you think I do. On his live feed the past couple days I’ve also heard him say to a comment telling him to come to the heat “I’m not coming to south beach sorry fam” and people talking about the Knicks in his comments said “why y’all talkin about the Knicks on my feed” Donovan is here for a while and yes if we treat him with the love and respect he deserves along with the Jazz giving him a competent team around him he’s going to stay here even beyond this I think. No I do not actually believe Donovan is dumb enough to put his career in the hands of Dolan. He’s not going to do that.
No McCades entire point there was that Donovan has a $16.5 million cap hold for the 2020-21 season. If he signs the extension this summer. That cap hold increases to the $33 million erasing $16 million in possible cap space. He just phrased it really stupidly. The dude agrees Donovan deserves the contract just disagrees on timing. The issue is the pros ($16 million cap space) far outweighed the cons (pissing Donovan off). Jazz and Donovan will sign the contract this offseason whenever that is. Which is a great thing.
After Donovan liked this he @ him and clarified that.
I agree. If I was him I wouldn’t wait. He’s earned it. Just give it to him. He could get injured a game into next season. See Isaiah Thomas who was moments away from a max and got injured and never got it. Taking care of and keeping Donovan happy is honestly priority one. I just wanna hear his press conference what he has to say when he signs it. I honestly wonder when this will happen at this point too.I don`t think it is thay easy with Mitchell not being a top draft pick. He has not made mad money yet and if he were to suffer a horrific injury next season, might not ever do it. I think it is a very real possibility that he demands the max at the earliest opportunity possible.

110% Donovan has made the Jazz franchise a TON of money. He has?
I think he has. He came in with generally low expectations, to a fan base and frankly an organization faced with the unceremonious exit of our star player, and resigned to multiple seasons of crap, and kept us in the conversation. Only 3 years in, largely due to his presence and performance, we are not only relevant but legitimately a piece or 2 away from being a true contender. None of that happens if Donovan didn't do what he did. Take any 2-4 players before and after him in that draft and how many of them do what he did to help keep this franchise alive and kicking? I think he should sign for the max. He is barely in his 3rd season and yet to crack his prime. When he does, he will be a true force to be reckoned with. He is a special talent and should cash in on his cachet. And we should lock down one of the star players of the league, as they do not come along very often. He has?
