What's new

Mixed Martial Arts / UFC

also sonnen benefits the most form trtless. :D

if sonnen stands a chance it is with both of trt.

even more stoked for the ppv.

havent bought a ppv since silva weidman 2.

because ppv prices went from 6.99 to 17.99 euros( i know you americans pay about 50 bucks for ppv.

but i had to pay 6.99 for EVERY card those you got on free tv.

now i need fightpass 7.99 per month. and ppv events cost 17.99

Does he deserve a shot at the title? Dude's last 5 fights is a record of 3-2 and his losses were dismantlings.

i think other people are more deserving.
but his losses where against anderson silva arguably the greatest of all time. and jon jones, possible could be greatest off all time. and just 1 loss where he was outclassed by a heavier fighter. he always steps in when fighters are injured. doesnt care if he gets a training camp or not. he is always ready to fight!
he does not care if he has a gameplan or not. so yeah if he beats belfort i am not opposed to him getting a TS. i think others are more deserving kenedy, jacare, rockhold (might have forgotten another one).

thats like saying stockton and malone dont deserve hof because they are 0-2 in championships series.

you also have to take in the qaulity of the opponents,

Does he deserve a shot at the title? Dude's last 5 fights is a record of 3-2 and his losses were dismantlings.

so you think he does not deserve a title shot?
note:
Anderson silva before facing sonnen was 11-0 in ufc 31-4 overal
Jon jones before facing sonnen was 12-1 in ufc(1 loss comming to illegal elbow. 18-1 overal)(has not lost YET!)
rashad evans 13-3-1(draw) in the ufc and 21-3-1 overall

those 3 had a wining percentage in the ufc of 87% in the ufc and 93% overall.
he stepped up to fight jones on a weeks notice. while no one wanted to fight him n short notice.
he stepped up too fight rashad in a imho handicapped fight.

so does he deserve it? YES HE DOES!
he always steps up. and 2-3 record in last 5 fights or a 6-4 in his last 10. does not mean **** if you dont look at strength of opponents.

is there a middleweight alive who would fight the follwing:
jon jones(at lhw), rashad evans (at lhw),anderson silva 2x (of old), shogun rua(at LHW), bisping, brian stann, nate marquadt, yushin okami and dan miller.
and gets a record of 6-4

maybe weidman could do better then 6-4(but anderson silva of 2013 was not as great as as from 2010). what other middleweight could do it.
but weidman could go 8-2(maybe losing 2 to jones, rua and rashad).

cant think of any other middleweight that might do this.
other top contenders include
vitor belfort(who he will fight) would he be able to go 6-4 likely would he do better maybe depending on trt or not.
machida likely wont go 6-4 vs that competition.
jacare souza, luke rockhold and tim kennedy wouldnt have done any better then 6-4 .

SO YES if he beats vitor he deserves it.

what say you?

Is cormier in that weight class?

Is cormier in that weight class?

chael figths at middleweight and Light heavyweight but is a natural middleweight.

cormier was a heavyweight. but he was on his way to a date with cain. he did not want to fight cain for the belt
so he dropped weight. went on a dieet. and now fights ate Liight heavyweight.(2 fights so far at Lhw, vs cummings and henderson).
dont think cormier wil fight at middleweight anytime soon.
and yes he could have gone better than 6-4 against those opponents
