that pick nips at the old heartstrings, as a Braves fan. Had one of if not the greatest pitched World Series clinching games. The Indians were one of the most dangerous offensive teams to reach the series in years, Glavine pitched a one hit shutout. The only hit he surrenders was a high pop up that landed in the one spot that no Braves defenders could get to. He was one of the last pitchers to reach 300 wins which is something pitchers today just don’t have a chance at anymore. Glavine was so good, everyone knew where the location of his pitches would be and they still couldn’t hit him. One of the more dominant pitchers of the 90’s.
