The assumption many here had that Washington would definitely not take Hendricks was surprising to me. Basically saying if he doesn't go top 7 he'd be there for us. Not sure I agree but I would be happy about it. If we get a totally out of nowhere pick, or Black, in the top 8 things get really interesting. If it just goes chalk... Oh well, I'm fine with Black or Wallace I guess.

The ideal scenario is Walker, Hendricks, or Ausar drop. And then we can maneuver up for Wallace using 16.

I also don’t get the idea that Washington would have no interest in a rare player type that they do not have.

What would we trade then? A future first? Nobody is moving down for seconds (we don’t even have very many).

Actual players exist.

I also am fairly confident they’re looking to improve now, which a future pick doesn’t exactly do nor does another pick this year (another player to develop or that could be a bust).

I think Ochai or Sexton make a lot of sense for them.
