Would you call Carroll a shut-down defender?
If he is, then we don't need 14 mill to sign a shut-down defender.
I would love to bring Caroll back. What do you think 8 mill?

Who?Does anyone miss Kanter?
I agree. Not at max money anyway.
Leonard shoots 43 percent from the field, 32% from 3, doesn't get to the line that much, only 2.5 assists (less than "ball hog" Burks)
He rebounds well and plays good defense...... we already do those things at an elite level. Held two pretty good offensive teams to lowest point totals of the year. I'm not sure we really need his defense anymore.
I miss him a little.Does anyone miss Kanter?

If the Spurs had hit their numerous wide open shots, it could have been an entirely different game. It was an overall good defensive game for the Jazz, but it's too early to say that our defense is bulletproof.

I always thought he was fun and made me laugh. And I felt he was pretty good at basketball for a 22 year old.
Don't miss him alot though

I love how so many whiners here complain about "oh you can't compliment Kanter without trashing the jazz" and now multiple people are posting/liking posts about how the Jazz are so good now that Kanter is gone. Hypocritical. Not all of you, just some.
They were rushed shots with guys coming out at them most of the time. Not the same as open. Besides they were taken out of their rhythm early and that contributed to missed shot. The Jazz missed far more "open" shots than the Spurs did. This would have been a complete blowout if both teams hit their open shots. If the Spurs had hit their numerous wide open shots, it could have been an entirely different game. Maybe so..... still I would rather pay big bucks to an elite offensive player to help Hayward with the playmaking duties than a poor offensive player that plays great defense. If the Spurs had hit their numerous wide open shots, it could have been an entirely different game.
