More Republicans try and kill Democrats

I left this site about two years ago due to all sorts of things, but especially because my life got very busy. I came back tonight because I am blown away by this Jazz team and far more interested than I ever expected to be.
The Jazz are so much more fun to watch than last year's squad, from the little I have seen. Welcome back.

It's pretty funny that yet again the left wing media and all of their fanboys seem to have fallen head over heels for a story that is falling apart as the actual facts come to light.
There is certainly no end of propaganda. I hope we exchange differing opinions on matters in the future, relying truthful accounts of the world rather then invented nonsense.

Uhh, it wasn't disgusting at all. It was me saying that I was going to blow your mind. I switched it up a little thinking it was clever. It was not a reference to physically harming your brain in any way shape or form. I can't even believe that you read it that way having just gone back and re-read it.
I’ve never heard this expression before:
I'm about to blow your brains all the way out of your brains right now. The entire world does not rotate around R vs D.
I have heard “blow your mind.” Were you trying to be clever or is this what the young kids are saying these days? I’m fine with admitting that I didn’t understand you correctly but explicitly saying “blow your brains all the way out of your brains” might’ve been a little concerning, right?

And now that we’ve successfully changed this entire thread to be about me, anyone want to discuss the actual issue of RW propaganda radicalizing people to lash out at their political opponents? Sounds like this guy had zip ties and was planning to hold the Pelosi’s hostage.

The gap in what I believe has happened in the world and the things that some of you are saying is massive. I could pick dozens of subjects but just as an example let's take a look at the Hunter Biden laptop. The moment that this story broke it was buried by media and big tech. Today, though, even liberal outlets are admitting that the laptop was real, that the information it contained has been verified, and that it is a massive problem for the Biden family. Here's one example: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/hunter-biden-laptop-investigation.html. To suggest that the suppression of this story did not have a favorable election impact on Joe Biden is ludicrous. It is clear to anyone paying attention that this is the sort of story that the media would have magnified to the maximum extent of their abilities had its subject been a conservative politician. It's troubling to me that even though the facts are now mostly acknowledged we have heard virtually no suggestion that Biden is compromised or that he is putting our country in danger. My guess is that they are trying to get through the mid-terms before doing this, and then they are going to run him out of town on a rail while lecturing to us in sanctimonious tones about how they hold their own to high standards (unlike conservatives). I don't really think it's a big deal if they do get rid of Biden because I think you would have to be as brain dead as he is to actually believe that he is the person who has been leading this administration.

I'm not going to stick around this site, though. It's a waste of time introducing facts into your completely unbalanced discussions. Enjoy your echo chamber. And try not to let all the conservative victories on November 8 dissuade you from the belief that all of the intelligent and informed people see things the same way that you do.

Oh you mean like when a married donald trump slept with a freaking porn star and then paid her hush money with campaign funds? That story barely got noticed and did absolutely no damage to trumps chances at winning the presidency. In fact, that is a huge difference between the two parties. The Hunter biden laptop story probably would have hurt Joe Bidens chances if it got tons of publicity. Just like Clintons emails (that came out right as the election was coming up). But if some scandal comes out about a republican candidate it actually seems to help their chances at winning. Republicans love a scandalous candidate. Its a way to shove pc culture and cancel culture in the democrats faces. Corruption and scandal are positive for republicans candidates and they dont have to be held accountable. Not so for the democrats.
Hershel walker was campaining on being pro life and it turns out he paid for multiple abortions which it turns out has helped his chances lol. (just read yesterday that he has gained point in the polls against wornack)

Also, I hear the phrase "hunter bidens laptop" quite a lot. Yet I never hear why him owning a laptop is bad. I often ask people who bring up the laptop why him owning one is bad but they never ever have a reason. They just say there is bad stuff on there. What stuff, I ask. Bad stuff they say.

I decided to google what is on hunter bidens laptop.
It seems the answer is that he lied on an application when he purchased a gun and he cheated on his taxes? Thats the huge bombshell lol. Oh noes. I was thinking there was evidence of some pedophilia or something really scandolous.
Republicans should be championing Hunter for A. Being a gun owner!!!!!! and B. Going against the IRS!!!!! These are both things that Republicans seem to think are good things. They love gun ownership and they think we should be give less money to the government.

If the US public cared about a President having children make money off his name/position, Trump would never have been elected. If you are claiming that there was information in the supposed laptop to tar Joe Biden himself, perhaps you could back that up? You'd be the first one to do so in my experience. So far, nothing I've seen put forth from the supposed laptop implicates Joe Biden in any way, and very little of what it says Hunter Biden was doing is illegal.

It is clear to anyone paying attention that this is the sort of story that the media would have magnified to the maximum extent of their abilities had its subject been a conservative politician.
The only major publication that discussed the Steele dossier prior to the election was Mother Jones, and even then they did not mention any of the more salacious contents. All of the main news sources (which you claim would have published unverified information on a conservative) refused to published this unverified information on Trump. Your claim here is in direct contradict to well-documented, recent historical events.

It's troubling to me that even though the facts are now mostly acknowledged we have heard virtually no suggestion that Biden is compromised or that he is putting our country in danger.
List out the ways the laptop support that Joe Biden is compromised or is putting out country in danger. I'll wait.

I'm not going to stick around this site, though.
Please stick around long enough to support your allegations regarding the contents of Biden's laptop.

Enjoy your echo chamber.
Said by the guy who thought Paul Pelosi was involved in some scandal because he was hit with a hammer.

And try not to let all the conservative victories on November 8 dissuade you from the belief that all of the intelligent and informed people see things the same way that you do.
I see intelligent and informed posters who disagree with me politically in this forum from time to time. Lately, @Bucknutz has been a blessing. Perhaps instead of huffing off, you could try to take your game up to his level?

I never thought of it that way before. LOL.

One thing I have found interesting recently is conservatives championing kyrie irving. I saw many right wing folks on facebook yesterday talking about how smart Kyrie is. The reason that they think he is so smart is simply because he doesn't think the same way as most people (the "mainstream")
That is a very poor way to determine intelligence. For example, all my life the mainstream has been telling me that the reason to buy a couch is to sit or lay on it. But I think that the reason you should buy a couch is to eat it. It delicious and nutritious. I dont follow the mainstream therefore Im so smart right? Sadly if the right people starting saying that you should eat your couch many right wing folks would get home from work today, grab their forks and dig in. If its against the mainstream then it must be correct and smart.

Really though the best way to get those on the right to love you is to say something stupid and act like an *** hole, get called out for it (cancelled) and boom, they will love you.

The comments are the worst. So many sheep still believing the lies and slandering Paul Pelosi all because he gets attacked. Sickening. Hopefully Paul Pelosi can sue some of the people making up these lies. There should be consequences. But there wont be.

Perhaps Republicans should look back to how Democrats responded to the June 14, 2017, assault weapon attack on Republican representatives practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. Democratic leaders knew the shooter, James Hodgkinson, was an angry, Trump-hating progressive — not crazy in the sense that David DePape is crazy, just angry, from a progressive Democratic perspective. He was a supporter of and volunteer for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). A watcher of Rachel Maddow and MSNBC. An absorber of Democratic talking points. A man angry enough to attack Republicans with a semi-automatic rifle and a 9 mm handgun, gravely wounding Scalise and four others.

Here is what Democrats did after the Scalise attack: They condemned the violence. They wished Scalise well. They praised law enforcement. And they moved on. They did not concede that their rhetoric might have contributed to Hodgkinson's actions. They did not even acknowledge the accusation. They quickly issued statements. Here is what then-Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said in a statement, in its entirety:

This morning, the U.S. Congress suffered a despicable and cowardly attack. My thoughts and prayers are with Whip Steve Scalise and the others wounded, Capitol Police and staff, and their families. We are profoundly grateful for the heroism of the Capitol Police, whose bravery under fire undoubtedly saved countless lives. On days like today, there are no Democrats or Republicans, only Americans united in our hopes and prayers for the wounded.

That was it. Pelosi said several good and necessary things and did not come anywhere near acknowledging any sort of Democratic collective guilt for the shootings. And here is what Sanders, the specific object of Hodgkinson's admiration, said in a statement:

I have just been informed that the alleged shooter at the Republican baseball practice is someone who apparently volunteered on my presidential campaign. I am sickened by this despicable act. Let me be as clear as I can be: Violence of any kind is unacceptable in our society and I condemn this action in the strongest possible terms. Real change can only come about through nonviolent action, and anything else runs against our most deeply held American values.

Maybe do that instead of what ted cruz, MTG, trump jr, etc did. Dont blame the victim. Dont attack the victim. Dont grab hold of wild conspiracy theories and run with them. Dont make jokes. Show some compassion. For once. I guess thats too much to ask of the GOP

Well there were for Alex Jones, so it isn't completely hopeless.

Trump weighs in..... https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/poli...vid=c95f4a8b67834c638f65ae2a827b7bd7#comments

Former President Donald Trump has joined a chorus of conservative voices who have shared baseless conspiracy theories about the attack on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.

During an appearance on the Chris Stigall radio show that aired Tuesday morning in Philadelphia, Trump called the attack a “sad situation” but questioned if there was more to the story being detailed by law enforcement.

“Wow, it's — weird things going on in that household in the last couple of weeks. Probably, you and I are better off not talking about it. The glass it seems was broken from the inside to the out so it wasn’t a break in, it was a break out. I don’t know, you hear the same things I do,” Trump said.

“It’s a lot of bad stuff and I'm not a fan of Nancy Pelosi, but what’s going on there is very sad,” Trump continued. “The whole thing is crazy, and if there’s even a little bit of truth to what’s being said. The window was broken in and it was strange the cops were standing there practically from the moment it all took place. So, you’re going to have to explain that to your audience, including me.”

Police reports of the incident have debunked several claims from conservatives surrounding the attack, including that the suspect David DePape, 42, previously knew Paul Pelosi and that there was no break in of the Pelosi home in San Francisco.
The FBI, in charging documents, said officers on the scene “secured a roll of tape, white rope, a second hammer, a pair of rubber and cloth gloves, and zip ties.” They also “observed a broken glass door to the back porch." They said that DePape told them he had broken into the house through the glass door using a hammer and surprised Pelosi’s husband. DePape said he intended to confront Speaker Pelosi and to see her wheeled into Congress with broken kneecaps, “which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions.”

So the police and the suspect are saying everything contrary to the conspiracy theories. But cant trust the police anymore. Back the blue when its convenient.

It's so much easier to spread false conspiracies than feeling compassion for one's political opponent. Oddly enough, we all felt for Scalise when he was shot. Horrified for him. MAGAs can't rise to humanity.

Personally, the way I decide the truth is by first deciding what I want to be true.

Any evidence, made up or not, that backs that up I fully accept. Any evidence that contradicts it I immediately dismiss, regardless of how credible it is.

I perceive that to be untrue. Therefore, it is.

Am I doing it right?

Not only the big whiff on the laptop having info to bring down the entire Biden empire, but Joe Bags claimed that the laptop was covered up by the media.

Uhh, is that what we're calling it when the mainstream media reports what they know, which is that there are unconfirmed claims about the existence of a laptop that belonged to Hunter Biden and that info regarding it has only been provided to one news outlet? Those were the facts at the time. Reputable news outlets don't report information they can't confirm. They reported what was known to them.

I knew all about the laptop leading up to the election. I knew all info that had been released and I knew about all the unfounded claims that the info was severely damaging to Joe Biden himself. What turned out to be true is that the laptop existed and that if contained the political equivalent of a wet fart that didn't really have much relevance to Joe Biden at all and mostly just showed that Hunter Biden is a troubled person with a drug problem and some tax debt.

Whew. Bombshell. Joe Bags was telling us the whole time and WE. JUST. WOULDN'T. LISTEN!!!
