Most Glaring Roster Holes

Same people who rip conley this year I hope are ready to eat some crow next year. It was his first year and a brand new system. Some of y'all expect instant gratification and not patient enough to wait. Just wait and see. My husband is a nuggets fan , I know we make an odd pair, and he was always upset about how fans treated Gary harris and they learned against utah he said on just how important Harris is to a winning team
Do you guys remember when there was like 50-50 odds that a new JFC alt was going to be funny and entertaining? Seems like they’ve all been **** for years now.

Also, if you wanted to go real nasty, trade Conley for OPJ, sign Marcus Morris with the MLE, sign Shaq Harrison to the minimum, re-sign Clarkson, then bring back Neto and Udoh on minimums.

Mitchell
OPJ
Bojan
Morris
Gobert

Clarkson
Royce
Ingles
Shaq
Udoh

Jazz need scorers off the bench While Ingles and Royce have good percentages they were afraid to shoot. Add Gobert numbers and the jazz shooting numbers are deceptive. If you watch the Nuggets series the Jazz struggle to score when Denver upped their defense. The only guy off the bench who can score is Clarkson. He can be streaking sometimes. I agree that size and athleticism are more important than shooting but having some coming off the bench would be helpful.

Jazz were the #1 shooting team in the NBA, and that was without a full season of Good Conley or Healthy Bojan. They can afford to add a non-shooter.
We need two playoff-rotation quality defenders. We can’t add guys who won’t be out there to get stops when it actually matters.

In the meantime, can someone explain how someone out of the playoff rotation can get us a stop in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or the early-4th quarters? Will rep.

Conley for OPJ (health permitting) would be very nice I think.
I think people are thinking OBJ is the player he was with Washington. I do not think he is and his contract seems to be pricey. I didn't look. i was excited about getting him when he was a FA but once he signed with Chicago. I lost interest. Every one is thrashing Conley while not looking at the obvious issues. This is not the 1990's NBA. Slow unathletic guys could contribute more because it was more of a half court game and you were able to hand check guys. Now you need guys who can move their feet and have length. Part of the problem with the loss to Denver had to so with backcourt guys not being able to stay in front of people and our lack of size when it came to rebounding.

- OPJ’s contract would be the same as Conley’s: expiring.
- OPJ was traded to Chicago, not signed.
- The rest of your post is making a strong argument for OPJ, not Conley, so I’m a little confused.

For that deal to work I'm telling yall... Mike would have to go to a third team. Chicago does not need what Mike brings. They might be able to find that but I doubt Mike is moved as DL would likely balk at any deal unless it was us getting an absolute effing steal.

Does anyone think a sign and trade is possible for favors? All trades aside I would really like to see the jazz get Favors and one more piece with the MLE. I would love to add Favors and Dunn personally.

In this situation there's a S&T with Shaq Harrison for 3 years $5.2M

I dunno??
