No mvp - total team effort but I think the most underrated player last night was Devin Harris. It was that 10-0 Jazz run midway through the 3rd-period that wrestled control of the game away from Portland and finally got Utah back into it - and Harris was the key player, accounting for 7 of the 10 points. He started the run off w/a jumpshot, next drove the lane and got to the FT line, then found Millsap for a fastbreak alleyoop and finally capped off the run with a little runner in the lane and an 11-point lead suddenly had shrunk to 1. Once he started pushing the ball - the tempo of the game completely shifted.
There was also a huge shift after Jamal Crawford completed a 3pt play on a ridiculous call against Millsap which gave Portland a 5-point lead and seemingly the momentum entering the 4th. Harris hit Millsap in the lane for an 8-foot jumper, then with 4 seconds left blew by 4 Portland defenders and drew FT's just before the buzzer to cut the lead to 1.
Watson came in and continued to play with incredibly well, but the momentum and flow of the game shifted because of Harris.
I think Harris caused a TO or two against Crawford, and fed Hayward on a halfcourt oop attempt that resulted in FT's. I would say Harris should have more "MVP" consideration for the game than Kanter does.
