Name a better wing rotation than Hayward Hood Burks

Give me some examples of teams that add expensive free agent talent to a position of strength. Do you not get that?

Seriously, give me some examples of teams doing what you are proposing. Even if they simply traded one of their players at that position the very next year like you suggest the jazz would do.

You probably can't. Maybe you are living in fantasy land.
Or you are just dense.

Well the Thunder paid Enes Kanter a **** ton to come off the bench. I wouldn't say it's a position of strength, but the situation applies. So there's one, and I'm too lazy to look up the rest.

You're also ignoring 90% of what I'm saying, so I don't really see the point in continuing this with you. I don't feel like repeating the same things over and over, hoping that some intake will happen on your side.

No one is saying that he's a 29 ppg player. Obviously he has ebbed and flowed, but there have 100% been constants, which certainly can't be cast away due to "small sample size":

- he is absolute mayhem in the P&R
- he is a great passer for player of his size and position
- his midrange game is superb
- he has good mechanics and fundamentals across every realm of offense, as well as a good IQ with decision-making
- his defense is sound

These are all things that haven't changed at any point in the season. That's why Carlisle is high on him. That's why Zach Lowe is high on him. That's why every intelligent mind in basketball is high on him. He passes every visual test, and the advanced stats are right there with him.

I never said I wasn't high on him. Please don't insinuate that. I'm just not ready to anoint them the best wing combo in the world.

and that's why the Thunder have a wing rotation of Durant, Roberson, and Waiters. Lol.

this discussion emerged because you suggested that we temper our Hood excitement due to small sample size. All I'm saying is that the small sample size really doesn't apply to a lot of the things that he's been doing well basically since he started getting regular NBA rotation minutes.

I guess I'll post the best 5 wing rotations so we can compare (obvs it'd be nice if either of our players became a superstar):

Leonard/Green/Ginobli
Thompson/Iguodala/Barnes
Hayward/Hood/Burks
Durant/Roberson/Waiters
Lebron/Shumpert/JR Smith

Fish. Thinking of your 4 good wings question. All I can think of is Klay, Iggy, Barnes, Livingston/Barbosa (not sure which plays PG.)

Obvi not as good as our 3. But you asked for a 4th wing who is pretty good. That's the best I got.

Barbosa and Shaun both kinda play combo guard, and take turns posting up/feasting on other teams' backups. So I guess Livingston could be appraised as a wing-- and he's probably the best 4th wing in the league.

The way GSW is built is straight unfair though. There's a reason they might get the all-time record for regular season wins.

Watching GS play they just seem different. Enjoy it. Probably the best team you will see in decades. Really hope they get the record.

Honestly Fish, any wing rotation that contains LeBron, Durant, or Leonard is better than what we have.
Agreed.
We should get one of those guys
