Definitely not saying Tucker instead of Burks. I'm not sure where you got that. If anything he would take Chris Johnson, some Ingles minutes. I agree with GVC on the fact that we could use a wing defender. It used to be Millsap but he was terrible this season.
Yep.

3983 minutes for Booker, Lyles, Ingles, Withey, Johnson, Millsap, Pleiss and O'Brien. The cake bakers are innumerate.

Danny Green was in a terrible slump to open the season. He's a better defender than Alec, and his shooting has returned to form over the last month plus. My point is that there have been more than enough minutes so far this season that a quality player could have been added without sacrificing minutes to key players, including Rodney Hood. Keep quoting me and arguing with someone else though.

I didnt quote you when i posted about danny green silly goose!

What does Burks do well?

well lets see. He shoots better from everywhere than all those big name free agent wings from last year. Rebounds better than all of them. Passes better than all of them. Gets to the line more than all of them. Is cheaper than them i think. And is much younger than all of them. He also can play the point better than all of them and is better in transition.
and yes, he has more magic than all of them. and speed and athleticism.

Burks sucks at defense though.

I didn't say that you want tucker instead of burks. I was just showing his numbers and comparing them with our third wing since gvc talked about getting a third wing and you suggested tucker.

for a 4th wing? sure i dont care about 4th wings all that much.

1. He can't really run the point. He has very poor feel for team basketball in general.

2. For all his moves and speed/athleticism, he can't seem to score efficiently at all (to be fair, he's asked to create a lot in short shot clocks).

3. Yeah, his D is ****ty.

I'm not seeing it. With Hood's emergence, the improvements from Burke and Neto, and Exum's eventual return, the Jazz would gain more with a defender and/or spot-up shooter at the wing than they'd lose from Burks (which really isn't much to begin with).

I guess what im trying to say is that i think that the jazz have one of the best wing rotations in the league (if not the very best) and they are young, diverse, and on good contracts and seem to have good chemistry.

I think of this as a good thing.

Burks can slash to the basket at an elite level. Did you really just ask what he does well?
And then not finish. He's shooting .387 from 3, and apparently is good at getting to the rim and drawing fouls, yet still has a **** .518 TS%. Doesn't add up.

GVC talked about adding a defensive wing and I suggested Tucker. Nothing about a 3rd wing. I'm about as high on Burks as you can get. 4th wing minutes definitely matter for a playoff team tho.

FISHONJAZZ GOING IN!!!
