They also had #12 pick. I never heard about them trying to move up to get super mario, justise, or stanley johnson. Didn't draft kelly oubre.

So they may have wanted to add talent to the wings... But there isn't any evidence of it. (They did add biggs and a point guard though)

If they did want more talent at the wings then they definitely didn't try hard enough

On the other hand they did add chris Johnson right? (Can't remember if he was here last year)

So that's something

Looking at last off-season as a whole. They added 3 bigs (withey, pleiss, lyles) one wing (i think cj was a new addition), and one point guard (neto)

So they definately were not content to just do nothing. Maybe they wanted to add to the team but just not to the point of disrupting what they had building with their core players.

Or not, no one knows.

Not better, but possible as good: DeRozan, Ross, and Carroll
POssibly Better: Paul George, Monta Ellis, Miles/ Stuckey

Smells like cake up in this bitch.

Good ones.

I have always had people telling me that derozan isnt very good though (i always disagreed) and carroll is having a down year.

George, miles, and ellis are about equal to Hayward, hood, and burks i think. Maybe a bit better

That Indiana one is interesting.
There has always been the george vs Hayward debate. I think George is better but not by much.

Miles is a lefty with a beautiful stroke and good size and athleticism, kind of like hood. Though I think hood is quite a bit better and more versatile.
Ellis was a quick slasher and attacker that was a bit out of control (I don't know what he is like in Indiana but that's how I remember him) that can play some point or sg kind of like Burks. Ellis is probably a little better

In Bill Simmons latest podcast, Simmons ask his guest (Haralabos Voulgaris, famous NBA better), if he would accept Brooklyn's pick, Mav's pick, and David Lee's expiring contract for Gordon Hayward. Voulgaris says no he wouldn't do it if he was Utah. Simmons then admits to trolling Utah fans earlier and that he really likes Gordon Hayward.

He said he would only do it post-lottery selection and if the Brooklyn pick was #1.

Also a giant Boston fan. Green colored glasses type trade anyway.

It's an interesting thought. I would also wait until post lottery, and would probably do it if the pick were top 2. Simmons is the big prize, but I think Ingram has massive potential. His length also fits in extremely well with the roster we look to be trying to build.

Not to mention, moving Hayward's contract - and not having to offer another max deal in the next 1-2 offseasons - makes re-signing the likes of Rudy, Favors, Hood, and/or Exum to big deals more realistic.

PG - Exum
SG - Hood
SF - Ingram
PG - Favors
C - Gobert

Amazing size, length, and athleticism at every position.

Exum has yet to prove he is starter material or a point guard for that matter
