National Jazz hype starting in 3,2,1...

Serious question, when was the last time we had a win this big? Beating Phoenix to make it into the playoffs with Big Al/Sap?

Hell no. There were no big wins with that team. All it did was sucker management into sticking with a loser for 2 years longer than we should have.

Uhhh, the Cleveland game winning buzzer beater last year. IDK how "big" any early season win can be.

Since they beat Westbrook + KD without Hayward whilst starting Jamal Tinsley and Randy Foye.

That was the game Denarre Carroll emerged... 2/13/13

Decent statline. The two points isnt so good but 13 rebounds and 13 assists is nice

S.A lost 1 home game all last season. 1.

Jazz have not won there in 10 games. I think the 09-10 season.

This is the year the Jazz are supposed to start arriving. But then injuries hit and a tough schedule and the negative nancies started coming out. This game was huge for the Jazz. Huge.

A couple things :All the reasons I was so excited for the Jazz showed up last night

A solid glimpse of the Jazz potential as a dominate force defensively

We haven't seen how good the 1st unit AND the 2nd unit could be til Hayward ,Burks and Favors are totally healthy,BUT we're sure getting a good idea of what it can be though

They can be a 1...2 punch against teams

Huge Jerry, Huge!

Emerging teams need signature wins, not only for national attention, but to change the team culture and build confidence. I think this one does that.

Weren't we all expecting a 2nd half collapse? It certainly appeared Utah was headed that way after a hot start. Certainly Kawhi and company would close the game out in the last 5 mins because that's what they do...and Utah hadnt, except against a bad Lakers team.

What was so good about fighting off the Spurs comeback is that multiple players contributed on both ends of the court. Dante's block and a steal, Mack's buckets, Lyles' hot hand, Jingles' 3, on and on.

Biggest thing that stuck out to me was beating the brakes off the Spurs in the last few minutes of the game. The last few years the jazz would tease us by being in a close game like this then get blown up and lose by 15.

So a quick check of NBA.com and you wouldn't know that Utah handed the Spurs their first loss of the season. I even watched the top-10 plays video and there was one from the Jazz Spurs game, it was Ginobili stealing the ball leading to an alley-opp dunk on the other end. None showing the Jazz.
