In retrospect, I shouldn't have brought up that kid's gesture. I do believe he's doing the WP gesture. There are millions of white nationalists in the US (I'm not exaggerating). And they are very active online. Utah does not have a strong WN culture, but some other places do.

But, if you want a study, I'm sure Google can help you out. This can be looked at in many ways, from surveys that show what % of Americans think blacks are less intelligent (look it up), to more direct ones like this:

Hell Steve King got around 150,000 votes and that's just a single district in Iowa. There are easily a couple of million white nationalists across the nation.

There are far more than that. 9% who answered the survey would translate to over 20m. And if you're using my definition of what white nationalism is (above), then it is far higher.
