NBA 75th Anniversary Team

I feel Barkley is getting a boost from his being on TNT. I know that sounds ridiculous but he's one of the few non-player faces of the NBA and everyone seems to like him.

Malone? Whenever he trends on twitter, it's everyone reminding us he impregnated a 13 year old girl while in his 20s. He's kind of toxic now. I've got to think if he was a bigger, more popular personality today he likely DOES appear ahead of Barkley.

Malone is grossly underrated as a player. He finished his career the second-leading scorer in NBA history, is one of something like 14 players who've won multiple regular season MVPs and I'm sure if you add All Star MVPs, that list is even smaller (1989, 1993). He averaged more PPG than Barkley, played at a higher level more consistently and came closer than Barkley to winning a NBA title (I say closer because he made the Finals twice).
