How do we even get out of being completely **** for the next 5+ years? Honestly? We're apparently going into year 4 of Ryan Smith's plan to get the Jazz's championship......

The Jazz don't.

Tanking.

If tanking wasn't the answer, then why did the last seasons happen? Tanking is still the only answer. If the goal is: a team competing for multiple championships.

If Smith re-evaluates the goals and changes the management, then the answer can be: quite quickly and easily. That team won't be ****, but neither will it be a championship team.

Here's the problem with the Jazz: The fans rabidly support the team no matter who is on the court. So there's no benefit to giving the Jazz a high lottery pick. We're a bunch of happy campers either way.

If we were rioting or burning Donovan Mitchell jerseys and calling for so-and-so to be fired, then we'd get more attention.

If we got to the point where weren’t supporting a franchise, they’d be more than happy to oblige the move to a different market before thinking they needed to throw us a bone to keep afloat.

I feel like I’m being forced at gun point to believe in conspiracy theories. What else can explain the “coincidence” that the last two teams to trade their franchise player to the Lakers receive the #1 pick?

And what kompromat do the Spurs have on the league? This defies any reasonable explanation. Conspiracy is the most reasonable explanation. I feel deeply violated.
