That's a great idea!!! Derrick Favors can't play consecutive games and Joe Johnson shouldn't play heavy minutes. Dennis Lindsey said they are looking for players who are good, smart and love the game. Royce is good, smart and loves the game. He can play just half of the games to let Derick and Joe rest. Let him play just home games or let him travel to places that are easily reached. I would totally do that. His talent is worth it, especially we are in a bind this year. Great passing, very very strong, fast on his feet and with the ball and has some range. And it would be a great P.R. move by the Jazz being so accomodating and caring for his players that would highlight how much the organization will go to help.

Great news for Utah that KCP took a 1 year deal, putting him in the FA class of 2018. He will take an offer away from Hood because he will be more attainable by being an UFA.
After reading though Paul Georges comments it makes me think we should have gone after him. I think he will embrace his time in OKC and if they somehow are competitive with GS(which I doubt they will be, but who knows) he will stick around. He sounds like winning is the most important thing to him and maybe he thinks LA can get him a championship but I think if he felt another team could get him a championship he would stay.
Who knows what Hayward would have done if we traded for PG but if he did stay I think that team could have competed with GS this upcoming year.
Oh well, we will never know and I do think that was far to big of a risk for the Jazz to take but in retrospect I think the risk would have been okay.

I wouldnt go that far. There is more than enough evidence that Hayward would have still left. Its hard to tell though with the amount of dishonesty he was doing to everyone around him.
Good news is we are still in a great place as a franchise. We are still set up for success short term and long term.
I'm sure that the Jazz DID go after George. The Pacers are really high on Oladipo though. That's why the Thunder were able to get George.

We must stay the course in having good relations with the Denver Nuggets, they are our lucky charm so to speak.
Just looking at the rosters of other teams around the NBA I don't see many 3/small ball 4 options available that we could acquire in deals that make sense for us.
Maybe Doug McDermott? The Thunder have PG13, Roberson, Alex Abrines, newly drafted Terrance Ferguson, Kyle Singler and a couple other wing types. They are also up against the tax.
