Jazz have choices with how to structure a Thabo Sefolosha signing (at 2 years, $10.5M) and rest of its roster.
continued-Jazz can retain Diaw + squeeze Sefolosha into last of its cap room with no Neto and renounced Withey cap hold + $4.3M R-MLE available.
continued-Jazz can trade/waive Diaw + sign Sefolosha into cap room with $4M - $7M more (pending Neto and Withey cap hold) + $4.3M R-MLE available.
continued-Jazz can operate above cap + sign Sefolosha with MLE + retain (or trade) Diaw/Neto + re-sign Withey if wanted + rest of MLE + BAE available.
continued-Jazz are currently able to stay above the cap if they want, pending Joe Ingles' signing, b/c Celtics haven’t signed Gordon Hayward yet.

However, if there really was a possible deal for Love in the mix, I have a hard time thinking they're spending time bringing in Jerebko now.
Why? If they are trading Favors in a deal (and JJ is only on a 1 year deal, so he could easily get traded too) then they still would want the depth at the position.

With today's signings(which are OK individually) the Jazz pretty much gave up on next year's free agency by adding about 10M to the payroll for next year. And next year they will try to sign Hood/Exum/Favors which would lock us into this core for the foreseeable future. They did exactly what I expected them to do and it's kind of disappointing - they locked into mediocrity... unless Mitchell or Hood or Exum blows up and turns into a top 20 type of player.
