I think they call the first two a gather... the rules on this stuff are so dumb. If a big plants and leaves his pivot he gets called almost every time... if you catch and go it’s a travel when you switch feet... go backwards and move both feet twice... nah that’s a gather. It’s like the catch rule in the nfl.

I would just like refs to be more consistent on not calling fouls for jumping sideways into a defender to get a cheap foul on a long jumper

They didn't call it on Rudy in game 6, which was awesome.

Notice I said consistently. Had there been 10 min left, there’s no doubt in my mind they call it a foul.
