just to clarify, chances are there will be no season, so just rank all 30 teams by record and that can be season and playoffs. Would be fun, and probably the best chance the jazz have of winning a title seeing as they don’t lose vs teams with winning records, and hope the Lakers and some other teams stub their toes against bottom dwellers

If this epidemic truly bleeds into next season, I wonder if the league creates a way for teams to dump a contract or two to help with financial relief. Could they alter the waive and stretch? Could insurance absorb a contract?

Trying to find a silver lining..... but if the league did something to allow teams salary relief, we could benefit more than any team in the league if we were allowed to dump one contract for 2020/21.

A lot of times pandemics like this come in waves. The Spanish flu for instance had three different waves and the second wave was much worse than the first. I've seen some experts predicting that this could peak in the US in the summer and then we could possibly be hit with a second wave in the winter. If that happens then next season will have to be suspended as well.
