Lebron said Ben has a chance to be better than him if he works hard.

three-time NBA champion Luc Longley believes Ben Simmons has the ability to reach the heights of basketball greats like Michael Jordan and Lebron James

Ben probably has more assists because, you know, it isn't like anyone wants him shooting the ball, so what else is there to do but defer... I mean pass.

And what do you guys think? If the 2017 draft happened today who would go higher, Ben Simmons or Donovan Mitchell? Oh, wait, that's right... Ben Simmons wasn't in the 2017 draft because he entered the NBA last season.

    Donovan Mitchell ROTY!

YES! Luc Longley, the beast! This has got to be a trout account with references like this. The THREE TIME CHAMPION Luc Longley.

Maybe we can get two-time NBA champion Mark Madsen to opine.

Nope, thats your incorrect theory. Especially if you look at the stats lately. Simmons has gotten worse almost every month this season. He hasn't sniffed the kind of stats he put up in October and November since.

    Eerily similar:

He has played well, just not as well as he did early in the season. He is only putting up 14 ppg in February.

Just reckon he's playing with a bit more bounce, he looked out of sorts in over December and January, seems to be playing with a touch more determination at the moment, think he could score more if he wanted to at present, over Dec and Jan, he couldn't score or do anything else in a monkey whore house with a bag full of bananas.

But His overall stat for the 2017/18 nba season is better than DM, that is what
matters most. If the ROY has to be decided right now, Ben would be the winner.

I'm pretty sure DM is better at getting steals.

Yeah maybe but there is still a lot of basketball to be played, DM has the momentum...

Simmons is definitely better at being tall. He grabs more rebounds, and can see the floor better, making him a slightly better playmaker.

DM is better at shooting, ball handling, and getting in the passing lanes.

I would rather have DM. Simmons will get killed in the playoffs once defenses hone in on him and take advantage of his lack of shooting.

Simmons has the slight advantage in steal percentage.

Steals %? The hell is that. Does DM get more steals but Simmons plays less min, or what?
