One of the prospects I was most conflicted on

Or we need a really strong defensive team around him to mitigate him. Maybe Hendricks/Bailey can provide that if they share the court and we can keep Flip at the 5.Flip is much better and more dynamic creating for himself and others with the ball. As a shooter and floor spacer, he's similar to Naz Reid though. The idea is that Flip at the 5 opens the floor, and it allows Flip to go to work off the dribble, where he's becoming tough to stop. The problem is that Flip doesn't have enough defensive presence to play the 5 defensively, so he'd need someone next to him who can take that defensive big role.
I mentioned something similar in the game thread. I can see the vision.Or we need a really strong defensive team around him to mitigate him. Maybe Hendricks/Bailey can provide that if they share the court and we can keep Flip at the 5.
Definitely not a full time 5, but if the Jazz are smart about when they deploy it and with whole it could work.
WCJ has a hammy injury he suffered near the end of the first Vegas game which is why he sat the last 5 minutes of that game. Why are our rookies not playing in summer league games? I have been following very closely. Did they both get injured?
Yeah Clifford looked better than I gave him credit for. When I watched a bit of their first SL game he didn't impress me but he seems to be playing well.If Devin Carter was really made available, the Jazz should have jumped at it.
Nique Clifford is looking very nice.
Also Harkless >> Carter
@andylarsen called Harkless the Steph Curry of drawing moving screens on his Triple Team newsletter. Said he's the best player he's seen work the refs to get those calls
Maybe, and yeah, SL defense is a different beast (but it does resemble how the NBA let the playoffs be played this year), but I have never seen a player consistently draw that many moving screens at any level ever (like not even close). He was drawing at least 3 per game and had like 5+ in a couple.I really like Harkless, but that is kind of a dumb thing to say during summer league to be honest.

Honestly I don't think I've ever seen someone defend as hard as Harkless does at any level. Dude gives 110% effort. He's also pretty reactive and alert on help D too. I think he's going to be a huge piece moving forward as a rotation player.
I'm guessing he gets promoted on a similar deal to what the Grizzlies gave Spencer and we sign Tonje to a 2-wayWe need him on our team desperately. I'm hoping the FO agrees and gives him a real contract.
Hopefully, I'm just not sure what they are waiting for. I thought he showed plenty last year to offer a real contract.I'm guessing he gets promoted on a similar deal to what the Grizzlies gave Spencer and we sign Tonje to a 2-way
