Just a thread to make dumb trades and post them into.

Ok, never done this before, but this is my dream trade:
Why Portland does it: While Lillard's name carries a lot of cache which will make people wince at this trade first look, they've already got a semi-redundant player in McCollum that can fill it up from downtown and create instant offense. Things have gone seriously sideways in Portland this season and if they can get 3 solid players for Lillard, maybe they think about it. Throw in some draft picks to sweeten the pot. Favors (when healthy) is a top flight 4 in the NBA, Exum gives them at least some hope of a potential PG that could provide defense right away and possibly grow more into his overall expectations as time goes on and Burks is a huge plus for them if he ever finds a way to stay healthy.
Why Utah does it: Utah brings a legit superstar PG into the fold and puts their stamp on a serious run at the NBA finals for the foreseeable future. George Hill's versatility allows you to play him side by side with Lillard, Hayward stays as he see's a clear path to championship contention, and settles in to the role he was meant to play: #2 option, Lyles takes over at the starting 4 now that Favors is gone and the Joel Bolomboy experience finally takes off as he becomes Lyle's primary back-up. Lillard is beyond happy to return to Utah, his defensive struggles are masked by Utah having the best rim protector in the league, nobody figures out how to successfully guard Lillard, Hill, G-Time, and Lyles at the same time, Utah wins 75 games per season and we all get drunk.
When you make the trade you have to hit the "save trade" button then copy the link they give you to share it.

I just feel like we've accumulated a lot of assets, and it would be ideal to eventually cash in since we're winning now. We give up a lot--both in terms of current production and the potential growth of our young players--but it would take a lot to acquire a star like Butler, especially since he's locked up long term. Include the GS pick and/or OKC pick, and it's for sure a better package than what OKC got for Harden.
