NBC's The Voice, Local Utah girl Dia Frampton to be a contestant

I watched a couple of the finals videos on youtube, just terrible. How can y'all enjoy this garbage? Those where some of the blandest songs I have heard in my life.l

I think the finals was the worst part of this show. It started off a lot better than it ended, part of my problem was the judges were nice to everybody....it annoyed me. There were performances that were just terrible (that like 16 year old mexican chick, she couldn't sing) and the judges would be nice and talk about how good it was. You NEED somebody like a Simon Cowell to make a show like this work.

Wrong. Simon Cowell ruined Idol for me after the first season. On the flip side, So You Think You Can Dance has 4 judges and a host (Cat Deely) who are awesome. They can deliver criticism without being edited by moderator, and it's one of the main reasons I love the show. (the others being legs. Lot's and lot's of legs.... /drool)

They weren't judges, though. They were coaches. They weren't obligated to critique.

I'm just saying it's not an original idea, you seemed to be upset that Dia took the name of Kanye in vain. Which is really sketchy for such a pasty white dude with a nice car.

By the way for those still hating on Dia, have fun being left behind. Her rendition of "Heartless" is now #25 on the iTunes charts, which is the highest of all competitors on The Voice. Her performance not only received rave reviews from all the coaches, but it is getting rave reviews all over the internet today. I told you this girl was good. It's looking like she has a very good chance at winning the fan vote for Team Blake this week. She will be moving on to the Top 8.

Told ya so. Dia won the fan vote, and is now in the Top 8. She has a shot at winning this thing. I really like her chances. Can't wait to see her performance next week.

Rebecca Black and Lady Gaga do well on itunes as well. Javier is just BETTER. PERIOD.

Told ya so. Javier won the fan vote, and is now in the Top ONE. He did win this thing. I loved his chances,because he was HEAD AND SHOUDLERS above ANYONE in this “competition!!!!!”
