Need help! As a jazz fan I' so confused!

Jazz Bear sahaya üçlü çektir yutaha!

Olm yeter lan midem bulandı yemin ediyorum. Olmuyo bu heriflere bu konsept.

If you're going to dedicate all of your posts to mocking those who criticize the team, you really need a better justification than "Maybe things will be better in the future. Just leave it to the professionals". I don't think anyone here cares about your unconditional love for whoever happens to be occupying management positions on the team. We, as fans, want the team to succeed. It is the ONLY reason we watch. I have yet to see a single post of substance addressing why the multitude of critiques, on the fan and expert levels, are invalid. Or why your attitude of "everyone is just doing their best" is in any way relevant. These people are making millions of dollars in order to emotionally engage an audience who will pay hundreds of dollars a year to support their business. So their 'best' can suck it. We want results. We want to see them working toward those results. It's as simple as that.

Tone down the hostility big boy, I haven't mocked anyone, simply disagreed. All I'm saying is who are we better than? LA? They have Kobe, Nash, Gasol, and Dwight. We're lucky to even be in the playoff picture. Mo has been injured for a third of the year and we're young. If you're saying that we deserve it because we're faithful fans, I still disagree. There are plenty of fans across the country that faithfully follow other teams just as rabidly as we do. So what is it that makes us more deserving than the rest of the NBA? You have to remember where you come from and do the best you can from there. We're Utah, not Miami... I think it's great to have a coach with a quality resume who wants to be here and will only improve in the future.

They're pretty good in this one actually. As a matter of fact, I don't quite acknowledge what the hell are they shouting at most of the time. But they are one of the loudest fans in the league and I appreciate it.

The Jazz have plenty of talent to be IN the playoffs, it's just a matter of using that talent correctly. Oh, I'm not pointing any fingers in saying that... *cough* Corbin *cough*

Go clean your toenails, Larry, maybe it will clear up your brain.

First let me say I have no intention of dropping the jazz as a fan. I'm all jazz fan through and through. I just want to make that clear.

This has been the toughest year for me as a jazz fan. Ty drives me nuts Al is so boring, and both he and Mo have ruined the offense. I'm to the point where I don't want to see Al and Millsap and Marvin in the playoffs. I've decided I want them to get in the lotto..... So my problem is, if this is my thought process..... Why in the hell do I even watch the games, and then root for them to win. It pisses me off just thinking about it.

Am I the only one having this problem? Have I gone insane? Or is this normal.

I don't know... I've never wanted to miss the playoffs before now. Someone tell me this is normal!!
It's a tough season for the fans right now. We have the worst coach in the league. We have one of the most pathetic offenses in the league. And we are not developing our youth as we should be. I can not watch a game and vote for them to lose. However I am finding it hard to even watch the games.
.
I'm busy on here instead of watching this game actually. :)

This season didn't really get painful for me until those 3 super close road losses followed by the NYC blowout.

Conflicted

Sounds to me that you are more conflicted than confused.

That's setting your sights a little low, don't you think? This isn't the 70-80's Jazz. We have since raised our standards. We don't accept mediocrity anymore. If you're going to rebuild then do it properly by using the proven methods. There are plenty of threads about this.

You are right, however, we aren't LA. We haven't shown that we can build a team through trades and free agent signings yet. We've only shown that we can enhance what's already there. For example, think back to every time we've had a good playoff team. Did we not have at least 1-2 or more draft picks that were or developed into All-Stars and Superstars?

My point is this: We need players who don't settle for mediocrity. To me, an All-Star is someone who hates to lose and/or has set a standard for themselves that they cannot go under or it drives them crazy. A NBA Superstar is someone who has both those qualities along with amazing talent and some form of charisma and leadership (lead by example, vocal, etc.)

On the other hand, the Jazz, to me, have a plan. They thought they could win along the way, but now they're just trying to survive until the end of the season. I think they'll either sign-and-trade/trade the "veterans" for draft picks or let them walk. At least, I hope they do so that we can finally go into a real rebuilding process.

Stop dragging us along on this miserable infinite loop. It's not doing the franchise any good long-term. Let the young guys have a run of the team and at least it'll be exciting again. Watching young pups having fun playing a sport they love is fun! Watching older players drag their feet and give up is pointless for everyone involved. It does nothing for our long-term goals.

Also, if Corbin is part of this secret plan, then I can understand why he makes such weird substitutions and lineups. If not, then he's really not ready for a Head Coach position. He needs more time as an assistant. I'm of the opinion, that your head coach, should be clever and somewhat sneaky in his strategies. It's hard to read that from Corbin. I'm not saying he isn't, but his interviews are semi-canned cliches, and not very clever. Corbin is a bit bold, at times. I'll give him that. However, I don't feel like he's very direct. It's like he speaks in code. He says things in the interviews but then his actions don't coincide with what he says. I could see why Bell had a hard time with him. He probably felt like Corbin was playing mind games with him or something? I also prefer to tell it to me straight. It may hurt my feelings at first, but at least I know the truth and where I can improve. To me, that's more important that ignoring the problem and hoping it resolves itself. It rarely does.

Front office and people in general:
If you feel uneasy, then chances are there is a problem. Don't wait. Take care of it now before it becomes an even bigger problem. Set your standards higher and always strive to improve yourself or that lack of growth will eventually lead to continually being unsatisfied. It doesn't matter who you are or how much money you have; it's only through constant growth and improvement, along with focus on helping others, is where you'll find consistent happiness and fulfillment.

I would agree with you guys if it seemed like the Jazz front office seemed disinterested, but let's be honest with ourselves, the Jazz front office and Ty Corbin are doing everything in their power to put a winning product on the floor. We have to face it, we're not LA, NY, Miami, etc. Does that mean we can't win one? No, obviously not, but we're going to have to remain patient.

SirOmar, I'm sure if coach would have left you in back in '82, you would have won state.

hahaha seriously?

corbin is not playing the best big more then 5-19 minutes per night.
how is that everything in his power to put a winning product on the floor
