What's new

* NEW * 2019 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

I am bored My team so far.

Morning
Giannis. Marion
Carter
Pistol. Petrovic
Magic

Right now I may have Pistol be the backup pg while also being the starting 2 guard, kinda like how Favors started at the 4 and also backed up Rudy. That way there is no drop off in our showtime offense:D

Thoughts?
You have a gazillion picks coming up, that should be fun.

I have a love/hate relationship with this team. Feels like you drafted well for the most part but I don't know how well this team will gel. I would look to trade pistol pete if possible.

The first best NBA player in the history of the league

Bob Pettit
Hall of Famer
11x All Star (every year in the league)
11x All NBA (every year in the league)
First guy in league history to be named MVP
2x MVP
NBA Champion (beat the mighty Celtics see below)
2x Scoring Champ
4x All Star Game MVP
Averaged 20+ ppg and 13.8+ rpg in all 11 seasons in the NBA
Lifetime 26.4ppg, 16.2rpg, 3apg

After Pettit's playing days had ended, rival Bill Russell said: "Bob made 'second effort' a part of the sports vocabulary. He kept coming at you more than any man in the game."

What stands out most about the night Pettit scored 50 in Game 6 of the ’58 Finals?
Pettit's Teammate: All I remember is telling my teammates, “I’ll break your arm if you shoot. Give the ball to Bobby.” He was unstoppable, and it was one of the unsung phenomenal games anyone has played: 50 points in the deciding game against Russell and the Celtics? Bob was a very difficult cover because he could move enough to beat anyone one-on-one, and he was one of the first men who started weight training, which we were told would make us muscle-bound and unable to shoot. Once he developed the strength to go with his toughness and skills, he was impossible to guard. You could not knock him off his shot or away from the rebound.
