New juicy rumor: Jazz headed to Seattle

Seattle would need a new arena, and the way the NBA screwed Seattle last time I don't see how they could get public financing for that and I don't think the Jazz would want to have to pay for a new arena to move there.

I really hate Utah, I wish the Jazz would move that team somewhere else, maybe we could have a chance to win....Everyone wants to go to big cities now, Utah WILL NEVER WIN ANY TITLES, Stern and the NBA will never allow it.

The problem with you pea brains always throwing around names like Maloof and cities like Vegas, Seattle, New Dehli, Lodon, and blah blah blah is that there are people in Utah that would buy the Jazz in a second if the Millers were selling.

I mentioned this in the DWill traded thread but this is sad when it's no longer about sport and why I wouldn't watch the NBA anymore. If the Jazz moved for other reasons then I may have followed them but when it not longer is about sport.

Is there a Best Buy in Maui?

Link?

Stern mentioned Seattle recently as a possible location for a team. There's some smoke.

This.

Fellow Utaharans and Mormans, put aside your allegiance to your state and just listen to this:

Seattle Jazz

It just sounds good...

Hey, just an FYI for those of you excited about a "Seattle Jazz" team. When our team was stolen the NBA agreed to give the city rights to both the "supersonics" name, and history. Any NBA team that comes to Seattle will (most likely) be called the Seattle Supersonics (all the fans I know are very attached to all aspects of the original Seattle NBA franchise).

On another note, I really don't know what to do with the NBA now. I grew up a Jazz fan (rooted for them in both finals), but now that Sloan is gone (the only coach I've been alive for, besides Corbin), and D-Will are gone, I have nothing linking me to the Jazz other than my childhood memories. (I live in Seattle so I don't get them on TV). It'll be interesting to see what they do in the next couple of years.
