As a 49er fan I can honestly say that watching the end of the hawks cards game gave me much pleasure.

Yeah, to me this is the achilles heel of NFL ... the attacking team scores a TD and the other team has no chance.

The Eagles deserved to lose. They had two chances to put the game away in the 4th quarter, fumbled it on the first, and on the second they were in FG range and let themselves get tackled for a 10 yard loss.
