Wrong and you just showed that you haven't watched much Steelers ball. Mende is one of a few backs that can stay on the field all downs. Redman is a power back that fumbles twice today. Moore is brutal and the rookie was in drafted and his first game was last week.

The Mende loss is huge is he is not back.

You're right. I hadn't seen them that much but from what I saw of Redman (I think the Houston game when Mendenhall got hurt or didn't play), I was impressed. Mendenhall runs in a very mechanical fashion with little maneuverability once he gets going (unless it's completely straight ahead) and Redman has a little more shiftiness and agility to him with some solid power and a niche to find little holes. At least that's what I took from what I watched. I did not however know he fumbles so much though after looking it up, he does have just two fumbles. He has about a third of the touches as Mendenhall (who fumbled just once) but I'd hardly say two fumbles is a lot. I've always loved Moore as one of the better 3rd down backs in the league. For me, it's a short season and I see no reason Redman can't get 13-18 carries with the other two guys getting about 7-10 combined. They'll play four games max.

49ers finish 13-3, win the NFC West, get the 2 seed, and the first round bye. All this in Jim Harbaugh's first year as HC. Quite remarkable. It's been a fun season, and I can't wait for the playoffs.

Oh yeah and YB should be happy see that the Rams fired the HC Spagnola *spelling*

Bittersweet. I had high hopes when they hired him, and think that one day he'll be a good coach, but this season was a disaster of epic proportions. The rumor is that Stan Kroenke is waiting for San Diego to let AJ Smith go so he can become the Rams' GM and hire Jon "This Guy" Gruden to coach.

Apparently my Jets really did decide they didn't want to make the playoffs. Losing to the Phins when all they had to do was win and they were in is nothing short of unacceptable.

I would guess you know this; but The Jets also needed The Titans and The Bengals to lose in order to make the playoffs - even if they did win.

Spagnuolo will always have a home with the Giants defensive coordiantor.

He was so loved in NY/NJ they'd welcome him back today

Yeah, apparently I'd misremembered what I'd heard about that scenario.

Green Bay start Flynn and trade Rodgers? 460 yards and 6 TDs, both records...... Hmmmmmm

Honestly, I think this shows how overrated Aaron Rodgers is. If the backup can put up those numbers, then I'd say Rodgers is more of a product of the system than an elite level QB. Yesterday definitely changed my perspective on just how valuable he is.

The thought did cross my mind that maybe he ain't quite as great as everybody thinks. Although, the sun shines on every dog's *** occasionally.

Sure, put any ******* into the "system" and he'll have a 122 quarterback rating, win a Super Bowl and an (this year) MVP. Laughable. Backups have absolutely no pressure on them. No expectations. And the Lions have a God awful defense. Put the two of those together with a home finale and good weapons, and great things can happen.

LOL. This post shows me how little you know about football. Let's just look at the stats and ignore things like how Aaron Rodgers can fit the ball into places almost every single QB can't, how he's mobile, how he doesn't throw INT's and how he might just be the most accurate QB in the league (Drew Brees can be argued as well). He's totally just a system QB.

LOL... Wow.

Rodgers is a GREAT QB. Yeah, Flynn had a huge game against a poor defense. Guess 122 QB rating, Superbowl MVP, and likely league MVP isn't enough for a QB to earn your respect. Not to mention 14-1 as a starter this year and 20 some odd game winning streak.
