NFL Talk

Too many injuries that caught up to this team. Entire front 3, Woodley with the hammy, Clark, Mende, Pouncy, and Ben playing on one leg. Congrats to Broncos fans and go beat the Patsies

Just awesome! What a beautiful play. Against the hated Steelers no less. Awesome!

88 (Thomas?) on Denver blows chunks. I've watched that guy drop very catchable passes at least twice a game in the past 5-6 games.
LOL. No reciever all season gets 100 yards against that defense and this reciever you said blows gets 204. Thomas has struggled with drops and the one he had was pathetic. But he is a good reciever overall. He's fast, big, and talented. He is really basically a rookie due to injuries in his 1st year and to begin this season.

Do you realize how many games the Broncos would have wrapped up by the 3rd quarter instead of nail biters at the end if 88 could hang onto very catchable passes? He might be good but he sure makes it difficult.

Yeah Thomas has been frustrating all year with drops. Some blame is on Tebow's passes though as a good share of them seem to wobble. Good game, instant classic for sure. Just glad we got one against the Steelers after they came into Denver and won in that AFC Championship game back in 06.

I doubt that. He's had a few drops. But as the guy before said it's not like Tebow makes it easy on the recievers. I'm not saying the guy has not been frustrating as hell to watch. But he's had on average around 1-2 drops per game. You don't really think 1-2 drops on short passes end games early that they barely won? Especially since I can't think of any that were drops in the end zone. More frustrating than 88 (Demarious Thomas probably spelled wrong) has been 19 Eddie Royal. Who besides never seeming to get open has had more drops than Thomas as well. Royal does not have the excuse of being a young reciever either. Thomas is really the only legit NFL WR the Broncos have. The other 3 are terrible.

And once again I'm forced to cheer for the Donkeys. That's twice in one season. I may shoot myself out of shame.

Call me crazy but I think Tebow actually might be a pretty (good) QB. I actually think the Bronco offense COULD be pretty devastating.

Why?

If they get another fast receiver like the Steelers' Wallace and started actually play action passing on first and second down, they could rip off so many big plays. Just like in OT, everyone in the stadium and watching on tv, expected RUN on first down. Everyone. In order to stop it, the steelers had everyone up close to the line of scrimmage. A simple play action fake and slant ends up being a huge play.

I don't think he'll ever break Drew Brees' record for yards. But Tebow's offense might be just as devastating if Denver can maintain their tough running attack, add another fast receiver, and pass on first down instead of third.

That second quarter was a perfect example of what Tebow and Denver could do to teams with those devastating play action fakes and deep balls.

Even more impressive was how Denver chewed up the Steelers' defense.
