He's playing alright, definitely benefiting from playing next to a mega gravity superstar like Leonard.

To be fair, there where a few times when Leonard was left WIDE open. Some of that "gravity" is just the Warriors playing crappy defense looking for calls instead of playing position.

Nick Nurse might be the best coach in the league. I love Quin, so this isn't a knock on our coach. But Nurse just doesn't let ANYTHING phase his team! He makes adjustments on the fly so well and never lets a game feel like its gone too far. I mean in the first of tonight's game the Raptors looked like garbage, but he didn't panic. Instead he played his gameplan and look what happened.

Meh. Jury is still out on him.

It helps to have Kawhi, a very good PG, and smart veteran players like Danny Green and Marc gasol.

Snyder hasn’t had that luxury with the exception of that one year when we had George Hill and Joe Johnson.

Give Mitchell and Snyder some help and I think we look a lot better.

Lowry’s role has changed. He was arguably the #1 option before. Now, he’s much more of a facilitator. Toronto has weapons, like Kawhi, Gasol, Green, and Siakam. Lowry’s job is to run the offense, not score. He controlled the tempo of the game in that 2nd half imo. Golden State’s offense is a complete mess right now compared to Toronto’s Well oiled machine.

I think as jazz fans we’ve forgotten what it’s like to have a competent PG. it makes a difference when Deron or John could control a game without having to score every time down the court. Sigh

Kyle Lowry is such a competitor. The guy just goes all out. All the time. He has had a handful of really good head up plays in this 4th quarter.

Pretty amazing how the “best” coaches usually happen to have the best superstar players in their team.

I am so impressed with these Raptors, regardless of what happens. KD needs to come back to make this a truly special story. Talk about two sides of the coin... there is no flash with Toronto, there’s no trash talking - in fact I barely see them talking with each other. And any kind of celebration after victories?

What I like is that Leonard took control of this team in a silent way. And he learned from watching the great Tim Duncan. Man, playing for the Spurs gave him so much insight into how to be a leader without screaming and shouting.

This team is truly remarkable.

Kawhi should stay, everyone will likely be back next year. it would really be a black eye for the NBA if he left to join some super team forming in New York or LA.

Lowry makes over 30m a year. That's fine if you already have a superstar like Kawhi massively out earning his contract, but without a superstar in place Lowry at 30m a year is a bad contract.

Wondering about Durant, considering Klay & Looney playing injured. Sounds to me like Durant is already gone. I recall an interview with Green mentioning DeMarcus coming back but not a mention of Durant
