NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

Luka was clearly not himself due to neck strain in game 4.
I think it has more to do with Dallas not being a very deep team, the over reliance on Luka, and the Clippers finally focusing. I think the Clippers are still our biggest threat. They can really d the hell up when they want to.

I think it's moreso attributed to the fact that no team in NBA history could sustain the level of shooting that Dallas had in Games 1 and 2.
They shot 51 percent from 3 in game 3 and still lost.
they can’t stop the Clippers. Or any Average high school team for that matter. And now the Clippers are beginning to lock them down.

With as much **** as tnt gives Mitchell about “taking the next step” maybe it’s time to put some pressure on Luka to finally play some defense? The dude is a wizard on offense. But he’s James Harden like on defense. He’s terrible. He puts zero effort in. Dallas might have the two worst defending “stars” in the history of the league. Luka and Porzingas are just traffic cones to blow by.

Mavs were 5/30 from 3 in game 4, so yeah, not 51%.

Well a fan running out onto the court just got tackled by security during the Washington Philadelphia game.

Sounded like a good tackle. I hope we get some better video. Lol people are so dumb.

I was watching, and it sure looked like a good tackle. The guy was kind of running out onto the court from behind the backboard and as the camera panned over you saw the security guard come up behind him and take him down. it happened really fast then the camera panned way out and you got to see them escort him off the court. It also showed exactly what a large distance the guy had to cover just to get to the floor. Kind of amazing he made it that far.

A strained groin in a best case scenario for Davis means a slight tear. The only way that injury heals is with rest.

If he plays tomorrow, it is very likely he causes the injury to get worsened, and puts into question his availability for the rest of the playoffs.

Remember, hes already dealing with a sprained knee. For the Lakers long term success in these playoffs, they will have to sit him in these final 3 games against Phoenix, and hope LeBron can carry them.

A slight tear of the groin in a best case scenario heals in roughly 8-10 days.

This is really common, not this injury specifically but to get a different injury when playing with an existing injury. Your body tries to compensate for the pain and you over-stress a different body part.

Holy cow Washington with the hack-a-Simmons defense with 2 full minutes left. Crazy.
