NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

This. Ja is having franchise records and still losing by double digits and he/they barely won game one in which we played about as bad as we have all year.
This post is looking better and better. Jazz about to send these guys on vacation!

They are, but mark my words... Memphis is gonna be an absolute PITA for years. Their core is all young.

Honestly, they may have been seeded higher in a normal year if they weren't absolutely wrecked earlier in the year with COVID and injuries.
Good post. I definitely think they’d be Dallas in a playoff series right now. And what’s Dallas ranked? 5? 6?

They're going to go as far as JJJ's, Dillon's, and Ja's growth take them. But if JJJ continues to stall out and Brooks is only great against us... IDK, I could see that build stalling.

JJJ is their big issue. They need a solid big man to really go somewhere. JJJ has the potential but its a big if for him whether he can actually become consistently good.

They are getting any high draft picks anymore so they are going to have hope someone breaks out or they strike gold in the late draft. I doubt they can land a big free agent either.

I think they'll look to trade JJJ, maybe as soon as this offseason, depending on what they can get. Brooks and Morant is a solid backcourt that will only get better. They have some decent bench depth at guard with Melton, Bane, and Allen. I love their backup C Tillman, and he potentially could be a starter in a few years depending on his growth.

Really their question marks are at PF with JJJ and SF with Kyle Anderson, as well as the backup PG spot. Anderson does a lot of great things, but I don't think you can start him on on a legit contending team.

Honestly, a Cam Payne would be a perfect backup PG for Morant when he has to sit. Morant played 43 minutes tonight, and Jones was pretty much unplayable.

1/7 from the field in the first quarter from Marcus Smart. that was atrocious bring in the rookie Pritchard please
