NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

What if he had the poopies yesterday? They still might pull the series out. I'm not sure he has "quit" on these guys. The Cleveland stuff is valid... but he was so damned young and we don't know everything that happened there. I just think he's done as good as anyone could in his position... I think he has maximized his potential. Tough to do.
People like to drag these guys down way way too much. They just start looking for little flaws and blow them up into a giant issue. No one is perfect, but Lebron has been great.

Heaven forbid sports fans criticize sports figures. Never happened before LeBron came along, I'm sure.

LeBron is possibly the best basketball player in the history of the game. Second time I said that.

Sorry for dragging him down way too much.

Alright dude, you're just a hater. That's fine, but that's your entire argument at this point.

Those Pistons teams very good bordering on great (with Ben Wallace, they were great). He beat them by himself.

Show me a worse supporting cast that made it to the finals.
Heat last year and it's not even close.

Embiid has a meniscus tear that they're treating as 'day to day'. Not doing surgery at this point because doing so would effectively end their season.

Anyone that has had a knee injury like that knows that you can't really manage it effectively (much less a pro basketball player).

I had a small meniscus tear once. It didn't require surgery, but my knee swelled up with fluid, needed to be drained, and I had a brace and was on crutches for close to 2 weeks. If he really tore his meniscus, he should be done for this series at least.

I’m happy to take on anyone that helps the team, even heels. The problem with Ainge is he did a bad job. Maybe a historically bad job. He built this incredible horde of assets and absolutely wasted them after 2017. Part of that, as I understand it, is that other execs didn’t want to work with a dude more interested in winning every trade instead of making an effort to be equitable in his dealings.

Add that to our FO who already have too many cooks in the kitchen and badly bungled last off-season on the margins (about as bad as they could’ve, even if on the margins), and this idea makes less than no sense.
Did he do a bad job?

If Hayward doesnt get hurt, everything changes.

When was the last time a nonesuper team won it all? Would the raptors from two years ago be considered a super team? Do you need three studs or does two sure fire HOF’rs work?

Did Hayward prevent him from drafting anyone or trading for anyone worth half a **** with their million draft picks?

All of Ainge’s wins came strictly from taking advantage of desperate franchises and not blowing the high draft picks.
