Game Thread Nov 02, 2021 07:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Kings

Added to Calendar: 11-02-21

First of all, I give the Kings a lot of credit. They were scrappy and never gave up. They are vastly improved from last year. I will not be shocked if they make the playoffs this year and can be a tough out for some team. D. Mitchell could be up for Rookie of the Year. Jazz played some sloppy ball but had enough spirts to win the game. I giJve them credit for hanging tough and pulling out the game. JC was horrible and I do not understand Butler being taken out. It seems like he plays 3 minutes and then sits a lot. I cannot wait to see what Rudy Gay brings to our bench because it needs some help. Joe played like passive Joe tonight. Rudy needs to get more shots. Conley, Bogie and DM came up big. A win is a win but I think the Jazz exposed them selves tonight a little.

Kings came to play. We kept getting up by 6 or 7 with the chance to do something but always did something stupid like turn the ball over to let them hang around. Decent win.

I would be sad if we lost after Hield shushed the crowd. Conley was so steady though.

Great games from Conley, Mitchell and Rudy.

Refs took away 2 easy 3pt shots by the Kings. I'm not one to advocate for easy math in something as complicated and fluid as an NBA basketball game, but those were some pretty big takeaways and momentum shifters in the Jazz favor.

too bad kings didn't keep bogdon bogdonovic or else we could be seeing two B.Bogdonovic and two D.Mithchell on the floor together.
