What's new

It might lead to some easier points but it's still not a reason to not score in half court. It's also not a reason to miss fts. This game shouldn't have been close had jazz played even a reasonable decent game.

But we did get transition opportunities in the final minutes. Guess what they produced? Nothing. Why? Our offense sucked and was the worst offensive game of the season.
I know our offense sucked. Slumps happen through a season. They're excuseable.

Not using Kessler against Embiid was not.

Off the cuff: Laurie is too nice! Pretty sure that Embid was icing his *** before he stepped to the line with 21 ticks remaining (missed both). He should have told him to **** off but he didn’t get it!

Also wish I had a screen shot of Doke’s look as Kessler came off the floor! Feel bad for the kid, he’s had a rough road with that bum ankle ligament. Hope we find a good trade for him where he can get a new start!

This was a difficult road game we were close to winning. Things didn't go our way at the end, but the effort was there. Frustrating to watch Embiid draw those fouls over and over so easily though,

So did Kessler get injured? I didn't watch the game bit his production in 12 minutes was off the charts and they were a +13.

That is fair enough. I dont disagree with that. But you are calling other people idiots for saying other things were a big factor in us losing isnt the same. I dont even have a problem with not playing Kessler necessarily. I think that would have been a good choice. But you could also put in a little more size to help when Embiid gets past someone, you could have called for better doubles/traps or tried a lot of things but he just let it go. Normally that isnt really a big deal for a regular season game and you want to see if your starters can step up or a bunch of other things but we all have PTSD from Snyder and the playoffs from the past few seasons.

Ill give him a pass for awhile on these things. He has made adjustments in good way before. I am not sure what he was thinking with this one though. Lets see if he can learn and change. I also still have no idea why Gay is getting so many minutes.

No injury. No one has any clue why he only played 12 minutes or why Hardy didn't give him a chance to guard Embiid in the 4th while he was cooking us for 26 points.

You didn't understand my post.

I said I disliked the "other factors" argument when we had one massive issue that had an easy potential solution that we didn't even try.

Hell I don't even mind losing due to offensive slumps. That's happened before and it will happen again. Losing due to horrific coaching is what irritates me.

I agree. Just keep in mind that Hardy has a 15 games experiences as head coach. He can't do all good. But this one is partially on him, i agree.
