What's new

Isiah Collier has looked decent the last two nights. It was good to get Cody off the schneid. Has anyone seen Sensabaugh? Is his picture on the back of a milk carton? Did he kill Hardy's dog?

what's his 3 pt % so far this season ?
Keyonte was shooting 32% from 3 entering this game mostly on the strength of 2 good shooting games. He shot 1 for 8 from 3 tonight.

He had that very good game against the Bulls but basically only shoots well 1 out of every 5 games. He and Clarkson go a combined 3 for 19 from 3 tonight against the Clips.

Sorry but just not seeing it and I'm really trying to squint hard here.

For comparison Tyler Herro was shooting 39% from 3 out of the gate as a rookie.

We’ve been getting a MASSIVE dose of Jordan Clarkson lately. I don’t think he’s been playing that bad, but I really had hoped this season wasn’t going to be about Jordan Clarkson.

"Showcasing" is the operative term here.
I feel like they are wasting a lot of shots that could potentially be going to Brice (Juzang or fill in the name). Even if Clarkson does raise his value it won't be much..Maybe an expiring + protected SRP? They are losing games with JC so might as well give the minutes to the kids and see what they got moving forward.

There are zero teams that would give up value for Clarkson, best hope would be an expiring but that is a stretch. If anyone can thing of one, I’d love to see it!

I don’t think Clarkson is playing to be showcased, I think Hardy simply likes him a lot and unfortunately I feel like it’s at odds with player development.

What’s problematic about Clarkson is that he’s not really stepping aside or helping the young guys. He’s bending the entire offense to his play. Whenever he’s in the game, Clarkson is the main character and Hardy doesn’t seem to mind it either.

Honestly, we would be losing by 30 to 40 points every night without Clarkson and Sexton. We need some semblance of NBA minutes out there each night.

What's not surprising is that Flip couldn't guard Zubac down low. He's not an NBA center.

What's absolutely terrible is that both Zubac and Bamba were able to guard Flip like he was Kessler. Those guys just chilled under the hoop while Flip was spinning like a top at the perimeter, looking for someone to hand the ball off to, scared to shoot. You can guess what that stuff does to our spacing.

Lue was pretty much the first coach this season who decided that his team isn't gonna respect Flip at all until he starts taking and making his shots. And there's gonna be a steady menu of this from now on.

As nice as it is to see Filipowski making good reads and passing the ball, he can't be this guy. His inability to shoot is a much bigger problem than his cheerleaders on this site are admitting, and, in hindsight, probably the biggest reason he dropped in the draft.
