So ****ing beautiful from every angle.

See where he starts that play, Almost in mid-court behind the three-point line. That's where I want him because it keeps him more involved and gives him more options for drives than in the corner where he too often just watches. Sure he spaces the floor standing in the corner, but the Jazz are so much more effective when they keep Lauri active throughout the game.

Something was off for me about that play. I watched that now about 20 times and just realized what it was.

Check it out: Markkanen was like disgusted with himself for having to take that shot. Even when he came to the bench he was fuming. He dont care its like one of the highlight plays of the year. Its like he wanted an easier bucket in that situation.

90% of players care more about being in highlight reels. Markkanen just wants to win. He is the real deal.

I thought he was fuming cause he should have been going to the line.
