I mean KO is a 10 year vet and he was on the court. Kinda nuts if the whole team on the floor missed that signal.

Nah that’s the coaches call and he needs to communicate it… I think sexton should sit down with him and explain to him he needs to get his head in the game.

This season MIGHT be about building an offensive identity first as when you get it done and going and throwing them in the fire at defense too it is also learning that side through sometimes getting cooked. KO is a bit older so he is not the project but he maximises Malik's and Lauri's and Collins offensive arsenal. That is also the reason I think is behind all of these decisions in 4th. And what comes to KO I think he is both a trade asset and a test cog for the future where we acquire someone younger and tall that can shoot. Or if Kessler develops a jumper - who knows. BC I do not buy into hardy just being dumb or stubborn. Not at all.

Sexton’s last 3 games:

16.7 PPG, 8 APG, 1 SPG, 58.1% from the field and only 4 total turnovers.

He had been great. Unfortunately once Conley gets back he goes to the bench and NAW goes to the dnp. It is frustrating to not make a full commitment to seeing what these young guys can do. Hopefully that changes though.

Which is why we should trade Conley. I’m not even really worried about getting a pick back unless we’re taking bad salary. Get salary filler and maybe a flier on a young guy. Conley’s getting up there in age and his contract isn’t the best but he does have positive value right now.

The good news is that we are playing against solid teams. Best case scenario is we come out of that stretch 2-7 but I think more likely 5-4.

Yeah, 8 of the 9 games are against teams above .500. Being home will help, but all of the teams we face are solid. 5-4 seems reasonable, or maybe 4-5.

Hate to say it but if anyone lost us this game it was Lauri. That and Ayton was going to feast no matter who he was up against tonight. Good effort from everyone though.

Nah, was one of those games, Lauri couldn’t find the net. But he did come alive in the last quarter and gave us a chance to win. This was a weird one. NAW, who many here thought cannot shoot, was our best shooter. Those offensive rebounds we give killed us again. Danny’s got to find someone to fix the problem.

Ya but our interior defense and rebounding has been killing for most of the season and he hasn't made a change yet so I dont think he is going to. Maybe they are trying to raise KO trade value to trade him.

Yeah, when Hardy first came in he was a little more of a gambler, or at least he seemed to be. Now that he's settled in, he's just like all the rest, afraid to be caught making a mistake.
I mean make no mistake about it, KO and Vanderbilt should be starting and Kessler definitely should be getting minutes to develop into the impressive talent that he will be. But if I were coach and we're on the back end of a back to back or just getting pummeled on the boards by some behemoth bully, I would turn to my resident behemoth. We've got a secret weapon for spot duty that we're not utilizing.

Lauri and KO are not big or bulky enough to stop Ayton, they were just exhausting themselves which hurts their offensive game also.

Yep, that's a big ask for a couple of guys that played thirty plus minutes the night before. Ayton is a load!

I might but if the coach isn’t clear you wonder if there is something you are missing. It’s like 99% on Hardy imo.

Did you not hear Lakers fans complaints about him? Their mail issue was his awful defensive effort, this isn’t something new, it should’ve been expected.

Lauri has to be #1 on opposing teams scouting reports. They are denying him the ball and double teaming him.

Just watched the replay and wanted to ask why the hell we didn't foul when shot clock was running down but I see it's a big mystery for everyone.. Overall solid effort for a second night of B2B, I still don't lose hope in this team.

What about our All Star point guard, Gay and Bolmaro? That’s life in the NBA. Anyway Crowder is on the block and Paul is a member of AARP. Sometimes less is more.
