What's new

Game Thread Nov 28, 2025 07:30PM MT: Sacramento Kings @ Utah Jazz

Added to Calendar: 11-28-25

Good attitude + effort from Key, Ace, Collier, Kyle and Brice. And Nurkic loves playing bb, he and Love are good examples for younger players. Will Hardy is cooking smth good in there.

- The Kings are truly a basketball nightmare. No direction, no hope, with the re-animated corpse of Russell Westbrook playing almost 30mpg. Literally the perfect team for a career-long loser like Zach LaVine.

- The destruction of WCJ is almost complete. He looks like he doesn't remember how to play basketball and his shot is so broken I actually feel bad for him. For a guy who'll be 23 in a few months, it's not going well.

- If Brice could get his shaky dribbling and braindead turnovers under control (I know, a massive if), he'd get some real attention in this league. When he's on, he's an absolutely lethal scorer. There's always a job for a guy who can come off the bench and put up a bunch of points in a hurry. But you can't keep dribbling the ball off your foot every other minute.

- Talk about broken shots... Lauri seems to be seriously overthinking his 3pt stroke right now. Looks super awkward, with zero arc or rhythm. The guy works incredibly hard though, it's unbelievable he almost got to 30 pts again.

- This was one of the best offensive games I've seen Keyonte play. Sure he's been putting up points all season, but I don't remember seeing a single bad shot or selfish play from him in this game. That's a massive difference to just last season. He really seems to be learning to use what the game gives him while also being able to take the initiative when the situation demands it.

Maybe I'm overreacting, especially with Sabonis out, but I've officially getting desperate with the tanking. If Brice and Isaiah can give us quality minutes, we’ve got a solid eight-man rotation, and we should be able to handle the lower-tier teams pretty comfortably. Even today, I don’t think we played all that well. We were sloppy at times and missed a bunch of wide-open threes, yet there still wasn’t a moment where I felt worried about us losing. Cody, please come back.

Welcome. I (and numb and HH to name a few others) have been here for a while.
The tank is in serious trouble

My best hope for Sacramento passing us in the tank race is for them to get a new coach. They have enough offensive talent for them to not be this awful.
