Jazz are going to find it very hard to lose vs bad teams in Utah.

If the pick goes past nine, it wouldn't have landed a difference maker anyway so who cares if we lose it? (yes I know, we can get stars past nine but the likelyness goes down a lot and with good scouting we can do that in the second round)

Except the nepo never said that. It was just regarding the shenanigans, phantom injuries etc. Very well could see other things this season, and trades obviously a possibility.

Trying to suddenly ”rest” Lauri for any duration of time after he plays like this would be ridiculous. There would obviously be a penalty again.

Yes, those were exactly the ones the nepo promised won't happen.

But that's like the smallest sliver of what tanking involves. This season the biggest thing has been not having a center. That's every game. Not planned obviously, but the FO hasn't looked to help the team either.
