Kuminga signed a 2 year 48 million dollar contract with a team option in the 2nd year.

This makes him a really good fit for a trade with Utah centered around Nurkic. The trade could be Nurkic + Rookie contract player (I would think the Warriors would be interested in Key/Sensabaugh/Filipowski/Clayton/Hendricks particularly), or Nurkic + Niang + Future Pick (Niang would fit great on the Warriors).

Do I want to do this? Not really at this point as I dont particularly believe in Kuminga, but it's interesting to think about. Given Kerr's distaste for Kuminga, there's a chance his value could be pretty low if he starts the season off in his dog house, or is playing and not playing well.

I think JK ends up staying in GS lol. I think Kerr bounces and the owner keeps JK around (after this season). Like a protected pick and Malik Monk is a really good deal for JK. No idea why they passed on that.

I wouldn't want JK. If we did it something like Nurk and young prospect that is okayish would be my offer if I did want him.

If we had John Collins, a Kuminga for Collins swap w/ the Jazz attaching a decent-ish first rounder would be an ideal trade for both sides.

The other thing with JK for me is we have Lauri in the frontcourt and other projects I'd rather put time into - Flip/Ace/Taylor. The skillset is a little weird but the mindset is my biggest concern. To me Collins is kinda like JK except with self-awareness.

Even if Key is balling out?
I assumed you meant today, if he's balling out, I'd probably do Brice from your list..... It's either Brice or Keyonte. They both play 0 defense and are shoot first so if we're waiting until the trade deadline to do it, I'd do whoever is worse.

Hendricks is a close 3rd since he really hasn't proven anything but I'm giving him a pass.

Walter and Flip are an absolute no.

EDIT: of course if they wanted Nurk, Niang, and/or Love for him. I'd sign it today.

Also, the problem is he wants 30+million as well. Kessler wants around that. 110 million between JK, Walker, and Lauri sounds absolutely terrible.

A Kuminga trade can't happen til mid January

I wouldnt want to do a trade for Kuminga until mid January. Then he is an expiring. I would do all vets. Nurkic, Love, and Niang probably are all really attractive to the Warriors.

I was looking at a Lauri trade but his contract would be hard to trade. Even if they did JK, Moody, podz that doesnt equal Lauri.
