Good job jinxing the Jazz you hack.
There's a good chance 4 of the 8 Western Conference playoff teams will be from the NW. The Pacific will likely have the worst combined record in the conference, with 4 non-playoff teams (Clips, Warriors, Kings, Suns).I've always felt it was the weakest division in the Western Conference.

Great job rambling about nothing to make a point about nothing.
Maybe you should go read Hop on Pop instead of this forum. That's probably more your level.
I think we should all read more Hop on Pop, Green Eggs and Ham, and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. They are classics!
And I suspect all but one of those four will probably finish toward the bottom of the playoff ladder.
L.A. alone makes the Pacific a pretty stellar division because they'll most likely finish with the best record in the conference (though not if they play like they did tonight). But you're right, outside the Lakers, the Pacific isn't worth much. Of course, I do think Phoenix isn't much worse than either Portland or Denver.
But when it comes to teams that are title favorites, there isn't any from the NW. The Jazz might be the closest and they're not at the level, right now, as L.A., San Antonio or Dallas.
I hope they get there - but until they prove over the course of a season they're a team worthy of winning 70% of their games (they haven't done that since '99), I have my doubts. Utah has consistently been 5th in the WC in the Deron Williams era and though I'm hopeful for a better seed this year, it's very possible that's exactly where they finish again this season.
So in terms of true powers - legitimate contenders - the NW is lacking. They have a collection of decent teams, but right now, I don't see one team that looks like a potential Finals threat.
You can't say the same about the Southwest and Pacific. The NW is a balanced division, but I still believe it's the weakest because, overall, a threat to the Lakers hasn't materialized at the top.
Dallas always seem to perform well in the regular season then fizzle in the playoffs. I would say we're easily as much of a contender as they are. But I don't think we're quite good enough to be a legitimate challenger to the Lakers or the Spurs. However, I have high hopes that we will continue to improve throughout the season. By the time the playoffs start, who knows how good the Jazz will be?
I've always felt it was the weakest division in the Western Conference.
The point is clear. I'm sorry your vapid mind can't figure it out. But just for you, I'll sum it up nicely in words you can easily understand, okay?
The Jazz will probably win the NW. They probably couldn't win the SW or Pacific Division. For that, I believe the NW is a weaker division than the rest because it provides the easiest opportunity to claim a division crown.
Easy enough, eh? I'm sorry you're easily distracted. Maybe you should go read Hop on Pop instead of this forum. That's probably more your level.
Good luck!
