I wish Hendricks played half as hard as the Camara dude. He was 2/9, but he felt like the MVP of the game with his defense.
I think Hendricks can be a real rotation level player on a good team if he just improves his skill and feel. If he ever wants to be more than that I think he needs to be a high energy guy, at least in defense. I'm not sure that's in him though

Yeah, he just seems so far away at this point. He seems like he struggles to even get off a solid two dribbles to drive in a straight line.

Hendricks just isn’t a natural energy guy. There are some times where he’s focused and making lots of plays…but true energy guys always have the switch turned on. I don’t think 6’9 Ochai is an inaccurate assessment.

Offensively, very limited. But anyone who watched him play a full game at UCF should know that. He barely dribbled the ball at all.

Ayton isnt bad enough to bench and he's on a max deal. He can still be an effective good player. They are ultimately trying to tank, and both Ayton/Clingan show believable 3pt range, so why not just play them together and see if it works?
Im sure they will try it, but one problem I see there is that both are used to occupying the same areas on the court. If they are both out there, then one would have to go against his "basketball DNA" and learn how to move and rotate as a 4.

Yea, I highly doubt it would work, but you also have to get Clingan on the court. He might be their best prospect currently.

Really need Filipowski on the court too. He's just better than Sensabaugh and he's probably better than Hendricks or Cody at this point. He's look pretty solid on the perimeter defensively to the point I'm not sure you are losing a whole lot by playing him instead of Hendricks.

His natural passing ability and quick read ability is just really high level.

Everybody expects POR to be terrible, but they need moves to get there. They’ve already had some injuries, but they have a decent amount of depth and unlike the Jazz their talent is fairly spread out.

I expect that they will eventually make those moves, but as of right now they aren’t a terrible team.

Why Collins?! Collins would be just fine as the bench center and we need to pump up whatever the trade value he has anyway. Flip should take all his minutes from Eubanks. Bringing in Eubanks for 5 million was the most unnecessary, head-scratching signing of the entire Ainge era.

"But why?"

Eubanks won't be getting minutes silly.

Why Collins? Cause who else?

There will be plenty of minutes for Filipowski. Kessler will get about 27 mpg (because his role is very demanding physically and due to some small-ball matchups where he is not ideal), Hendricks - about 28mpg (you cannot throw a second year player in for 32+ minutes). That leaves 96-(27+28)=41 minutes for the rest of bigs. Pencil in Collins for 26-28 minutes and you still have 13-15 minutes for Filipowski/Eubanks.
