Both players ejected?? NBA is getting too soft.
I think refs are dumb AF. Green bumped him… then shoved him… Whiteside reacts… green throws a red to the side like a rag doll same punishment for both guys. It’s like when I break a fight up between my daughters… “both y’all on timeout”

Why didn’t we try a zone against them? Too many shooters to cover?
The defense was okay at times. We had some serious brain farts and Gordon made more midrange shots than he’s ever made in is life.

Bogey was at the center of a lot of the defensive issues. Was glad Quin pulled him for Joe after helping on a guy that was already covered and leaving a wide open Morris for three. That’s the type of shot that can’t happen. We had em pulling up for a contested two and turned it into a spot up three.

Whiteside does have a post game. Q apparently limits the amount of post plays we run.
His post game is ***. He loves his push shot and he couldn’t hold off the guy from behind when we threw it to him.

He was good tonight except for one stretch where he went full blancoside for a minute.

Donovan had some bad turnovers… but thought his passing was good and his defense is really good. If he had shot the ball from three tonight I’d say he had a great game. I think it was a solid game. He had probably three passes for layups that became fouls… so think his assists were a little lower than they should have been.

I thought this was interesting. Look at Rudy’s stats for this year. Career highs in pts and rebounds. Career lows in blocks. He’s averaging .5 blocks right now. His rookie year he averaged .9. The previous 7 years he averaged over 2 and last year he had a career high 2.7 blocks per game.

Is it too early to come to any conclusions here? Is our sample size too small or has the league adjusted to Rudy?

That was a good game intially spoiled by the unfortunate Jokic injury. Luckily Whiteside saved it. That sequence and the commentary cracked me up. "We've got pushing, we've got shoving, we've got separation!" Hilarious and made funnier by the fact that they ejected both players over nothing. The bench unit with Conley and Gobert played about 3 good minutes and it was over.

Paschall was very good tonight. Solid
On defense all night… had one great sequence… good on the glass and makes the right plays. I was worried he would be too much of a ball stopper but his passing has been really good. I was sad when we brought Bogey in for him.

Yeah that was so weak.

I was very skeptical about Paschall because his main skill was getting buckets...but he's been impressive in his role. He's done a good job playing within the team and he's definitely got talent/skill. It sucks that he can't shoot and I do wonder if that will catch up at some point, but he's still making a positive impact in other ways.

If we win Thursday and the bulls also win you have bulls versus Jazz both teams undefeated and I will feel like it’s 1998 again… let’s make it happen.
