Right now Walker Kessler is leading the NBA in 3pt% at 75%. I wonder if he can keep that up?
Are we sure he's missed one or are they stats keepers ganging up against him? I'm leaning on the latter one.Right now Walker Kessler is leading the NBA in 3pt% at 75%. I wonder if he can keep that up?
Maybe he can give Lauri some tips.Right now Walker Kessler is leading the NBA in 3pt% at 75%. I wonder if he can keep that up?
Doesn't bother me how the rebound is achieved. Kessler is one of the best rebounders in the nba so whatever he is doing is working.Am I the only one driven insane at how the front court players don’t box out?
Even Kessler, just doesn’t box out. Drives me nuts.
He missed one last night.......... but it looked good and barely missed. Are we sure he's missed one or are they stats keepers ganging up against him? I'm leaning on the latter one.
I think for now I'm just going to be happy living in the place where I can cheer and enjoy games with my dudes playing hard and trying to win and surprising people. I find I have missed that surprisingly much.
In the back of my head I know that long-term, getting the wins is not in line with the team strategy and will probably lead to some crappy outcome. Either contusion-itis or trading away a dude that can drop 50 for some draft picks that convey in 4 years, or consigning ourselves to mediocre-ville for the next 5 years or so.
For now, I can hide that away and just file it off as someone else's job to deal with. Hold on to the slight golden hope that we manage to avoid all the hijinks, keep Lauri, skate just low enough to stay in the lottery, and then win it. Or somehow an Ainge can pull off some trade magic that makes us contenders.
Future's for the future, I'm enjoying the present while its here, who knows how long it'll last.
Well, there are tiers of centers and they do not neatly align with the round numbers. I am pretty sure that Kessler can become a top 10 center: he will need to become as good or better than Zubac or Allen. I am really not sure if he can enter the top 5: he will need to become better than KAT. But there is another tier, of Sabonis-Adebayo-Porzingis and that would be top 7.Top 7? when has top 7 been a thing? Top 7 things I hate about this post? maybe
But he could do better! That tip in from Williams at the end of the game is prevented with boxing out properly.Doesn't bother me how the rebound is achieved. Kessler is one of the best rebounders in the nba so whatever he is doing is working.

Also, there is also the top-2 tier of centers, with Wemby and Jokic (formerly, Jokic and Embiid). I think we all agree that Kessler will never reach it.
Hey man, why do you work so hard to make it personal and mean? It's just basketball and people have different takes, that's it. I like reading what you are writing, wish you posted more often.I like it, you back up nonsense with word salad. stop drooling on the ****ing keyboard and give it a rest.

Yeah one of the oldest was hyperbole based on a fact check (we were middle of the pack), but our top 4 players that year in terms of winning impact were probaly Lauri, KO, JC and Conley. You could argue Sexton over JC, but that year JC was really good. One of the oldest rosters in the NBA? Lol
The broader point is fine-ish… except the bright spots you’re talking about are players we had on the roster that year.
