It's just weird that they rest him after playing 23 minutes last night, but not after playing multiple over time games. Maybe they had pre determined which games they would rest him before the season even started.

They also might think they were capable of winning both the Houston and NO games and realize now they are short handed already and likely going to drop this one… so why risk Mike. I hope it’s the new protocol going forward though… b2bs are a young man’s game.
