Does anyone have current status for Collier?

I sort of dont want to watch Patty Mills, even though I love NT Patty Mills who is a legend. Apologies to our Aussie patrons for saying that, but dealing with Clarkson alone is enough to satisfy my non-existing apetite for mid-level 30+ yo guard play.

Agreed. I have always been a fan of patty and wanted him on past jazz teams. Not this one though

On the 24th they cleared him for practice and wanted to reevaluate in 10 days. I'm hoping he'll be ready in a week or so as I am USC alumni and a huge Collier homer. He was my favorite of our three picks and feel like he didn't get to show off as much of his game as I would have liked at USC. He's actually overdelivered VIA defense and passing and he's shown he can get to the rim with ease. I'm confident his shot will improve; the guy has clearly shown he's a team player and his attitude is Jazz-friendly.

He's not selfish and I think he's going to win us games by defending and by making smart, selfless decisions. He's pretty athletic so my hope is he learns how to keep his defender honest (again he's shown he can get to the rim so if the defender crowds him we'll pick and roll that guy to death and Collier will drive to the hoop and score with ease or dish to one of our athletic bigs for an easy two) so Collier should have a bit of space where he can make things happen with his hopefully improved jumper.
 
This game I am worried about. The vibes in Sacramento seem slightly off. Are we emotionally drained after last night or do they rally? If we split this game and the Halloween night game with SA I wouldn't be surprised.
 
Even with the Derozan/Barnes swap, everything looks as usual with the Kings. Their roster doesn't stand out on paper, but they are a good regular season teams. They lost very close games to two good teams and spanked POR last night. Nothing out of the ordinary there. Preseason is fun during the preseason, but we've got to realize it's unserious basketball that doesn't mean much for the real season.

We'll see how the Jazz rally after last night though. Any team can win on a given day. I saw the freaking Wizards win one last night.

A clutch loss tonight and a 50/50 game on Halloween with SA will have the tank ROLLING. Might open up the season like 1-14 if we can lose the next two. Yay losing!

Yeah but an early 2 or 3 game win streak can plant a lot of false hope that turns into confidence. Starting terribly will set us up.

You just gotta trust my vibe meter. Vibes are real mid in Sac right now. Not quite a 50/50 game but I think its like a 35/65 type game.

He's been concerningly off. I really do feel like Filipowski will have a huge positive impact ( relative for a rookie) and get the team a lot more quality shots. Feels like every time he checks in the game he creates a few open looks we dont get otherwise.
